unfortunately the TWM2 scrips make so that if you program the elves not to die of age then all other heroes, spys, ect would not die of age because it affects all.
Hey I have been playing this mod for a while but sometimes I feel the AI in this lacks intelligence. For example when I take my archers and attack a city the enemy just runs back and forth while dieing under my arrows. Has anyone else found this to be true?
I don't think they have the custom cities down yet. I truly wish they did because im getting tired of seeing my elven cities as just the same bland, vanilla cities from TWM2.
Yes, lots and lots and lots and lots of melee units.
Well they can distort the sounds like make them lower or higher but i don't think they could successfully apply a filter or some sort of modifier.
When might v.22.214.171.124 come along? Btw this is how COH should have been form the start, the fact that the soldiers in the original couldn't even hit the broad side of a barn 50 feet away was just sad.
What about Mordor? Should the other Nine get the special abilities too, as well as 300 units? Battles would be way harder but I think that would be fun, but every faction would have to get the special powers

I don't know if its just me but the Zann Consortium has become so overpowered that when im in tech 2 they have capital ships from tech 5, and the AI for the Empire I think is gone because they never attack and don't even build any new units. So if there is a way to fix this let me know. But on the topic of graphics the game looks stellar.
Well that just shows that you are a really talented tactician, or have incredible amounts of luck.
The only faction that isn't balanced is Eridor because there units are just vastly inferior to everyone else, but thats about to change when the patch comes out.
Why would you put this on a strategy game's modsite instead of a MMO or roll playing page?
its not too expensive anymore you should just get it or get the gold edition because this mod is really worth it.
My guess since King Kong has been working on it for 4 months now that we should see it anytime through April-to mid May. But he has not given a set release date, so relax and check every day and eventually it will suddenly be there.

There are always ways to do, ie if you have the ability you could create your own music for these races and cultures. Now I think what you really want answered is can the creative team put in more specific music for the elves and the dwarves, if we want to stay tried and true to the lore of LOTR then that falls in the lines of copyright and all the problems it produces. So I hope this helped.

I have asked for the program that they use to build forts and make maps and if someone would tell me, I would start making Helms Deep even if it takes a long time. So if anyone knows what they use for this, I will get right on it.

The game is fantastic and really brought the amount of realism to COH that the developers chose not to do. Only problem I have is that in the singleplayer the pop cap is still the same in the original while this mod requires more pop cap space. Also it would be nice if you could expand the xp to make it so you can purchase all the class upgrade. If that changed this would be an amazing mod.
