Once i've finished the playthrough i'll post a review as well.

Was recommended this CS by a subscriber, so i though i'd give it a bash now that i'm finally returning to Amnesia Custom Stories.
Impressed so far and look forward too what awaits

So, i've been away from Amnesia for a while now but i've gone ahead and come back with your Custom Story first (being the most recent).
Thought i'd give you a shout.

I must say, i love the approach you've gone for and the incorporation of 'Boney' is great! I have no idea how people couldn't recognise or understand where he was/it's importance. Really looking forward to continuing your CS, and i dare not venture down into the depths of that Trapdoor!

Just so you know i've gone and done a playthrough of your Custom Story, alongside a shorter video showing the alternate pathway where you come across Richard.

I recall playing through your CS, Call from another Dimension about 9 months ago. It was rather unique in it's use of portals and i guessed from it's closure there would a second CS on it's way.

I'd just like to say that from what i've played so far you have improved so much. Your original custom story was a joy to play, but this one takes it to a whole new level. The level designs, use of audio/music and voice acting so far are a 10/10 in my book. I can't wait to get right into playing more of it.

I must say, that for your first custom story it's really good (at least what i've played so far), and its very unique in the approach and style you've gone for. Most Custom Stories that attempt to make their CS creative in a 'fun' way fall short and usually come across as being silly or childish. You've actually nailed it by not only making it optional, but providing something new for players to try out.

I fully appreciate this and look forward to completing your Custom Story and reviewing it at a later date.

I'm not going to give it a rating, as i can't imagine this is the finished product.

Curious Question:

I installed this mod and it worked perfectly on my 64-bit gaming computer, however it started suddenly crashing when i joined a server OR sometimes when it tryed to spawn. I've just realised there is a newer patch/updated version out, and am going to install the high-res (having the low-res version prior) now.

Is it possible that since i didn't update, that was what was causing all these issues?

However, i am also experiencing an issue with being stuck in the bed. Perhaps placing the character next too it rather than on it would work.

In all the Custom Stories i've played i've not seen a human enemy (not like this anyway), so it's nice to see a change in tone as well as the use of Machine for Pigs textures/meshes.

Good job, and a nice twist at the end!

Without doubt, the lack of ambience music for the monster spawns is fantastic. I rarely get scared or nervous in custom stories but you've really nailed it on the head here.

But ermm....i'm not posting a review because when i enter 'Chapter 3' where you escape the Brute (do you even?) he catches me everytime without fail, and i have to reload the game AGAIN and go through it all as when you respawn you can't re-enter the chase sequence.....so what i'm asking is, is he supposed to catch you and that's it? Because i went through it 3 times after the Youtube Recording to try and do it, but i couldn't...lol

I go through the archives and end up coming out with the 'bad ending', as i didn't create a cure or create an explosion. I'll likely upload those other endings in the coming weeks.
Thankyou for this Custom Story and apologies i didn't get round to finishing it when i started playing.
I would also like to encourage you to keep making Amnesia CS's, as this one had by far the most interesting story this year.

Never fear, i won't spam each section as it comes, but i would just like to say that this has to be, (from what i've played - About an hour into it) my favourite custom story this year, and i've played just over 50 CS this year..

You sir, have a natural talent! I really can't wait to find out the secrets of this manor and see whether our protagonist makes his way out safetly and whether he gets to leave the Institution! Kudos to you again!

And i will say it was a real treat to play. This is only the 2nd 10/10 i've given to a Custom Story and you deserve it. Please make sequel to this, as i look forward to seeing what happens to our protagonist and the villain we know so little about (I presume it's the Baron)
