Hi, This is a conversion of Thief Dark Project original maps ---> to Thief 3, of course many parts have been rebuilt from scratch or this would not make sense to take the maps as they are, and put them into unreal, but the game (1998) need major alterations, to make them appear as beautiful as a modern game, also the mod has many features that the normal game (thief 1) does not have as Havok Physics , Enanched Dynamic Shadow System , Dynamics Textures , Normal Mapping, Volumetric Light,Shaders 2.0 or high Volumetric Fog etc etc, this is the engine of ElderScrolls 4, Splinter Cell 3 and many others. it is useless to settle all the qualities of unreal tech how about the game, the mod is faithful to 'original in the dialogues in games, videos, the characters, the story, the briefings videos so everything , musics included some house only enanched with Urneal Tech 2,it is in other words as Black Mesa, which is based on original maps, but improved, and sometimes remade from scratch this to give the game a new charm as all the most modern game. BM is based on HL1 maps.
I could do it with Unreal 3 - Thief 4 because i worked on UDK , but the Thief 4 'editor was not released from EM . i asked to them but nothing to do, the only change to see Thief 1 modern is using T3
I'm a purist of the game, I have not altered what make great Thief, but I altered that which I think should be changed, and even the developers would agree on this ,is not 1998 anymore .
Another point is the Architectures of the old game , which in my opinion need a rebuilt for clear reasons ,there 's a problem with the architecture, if we can call it so, clearly something fun :)
here an example the balcony is small and is just painted , a balcoby like this should be at least 3 times bigger, but it remains a texture. : LOL

Important: I don't know if finish it. :) this is the only problem, i'm busy lately
but 5 maps are completed at 80% that without water but everything works fine
Lord Bufford's Manor for example:
Ramirez House , Ramirez is a lord , he have in the game a sort of fortress cubic , he sent his guys to kill garrett , i changed the facade which is like 5 cubes with a high detailed one , it was a fortress of mine , unrealesed , was made for a FM of mine were the Architectures is pushed and improved to the limit.

I liked the Cloktower from T4 which a rebuilt 2 years ago,before the game was released ,from T4 i rebuilt just this, the clocktower is a place where you can hide in ,and you wil find an Easter Egg inside , there is extra objective inside!

Thief 3 is a truly wonderful game. You play as Garret - a master thief who is employed by the keepers (the people who trained him before he went on his own way) to save the city. As Garret, you go about breaking into many places from Cathedrals, Nobleman's houses to haunted houses and Pagan places of worship. There are many ways you can go about to finish your mission, will you go about killing people and using your best equipment to get through a mission? Or will you be a true master thief manoeuvring…
