Obsolete pre-release of the SU 1.1.11. Some new SneakyTweaker options, some improvements and lots of fixes in Thief 3 Gold.
This beta has the following changes relative to 1.1.10:
The code patch and installer:
- New tweak to auto-equip the blackjack instead of the dagger when you click attack with no weapon selected. (On by default in the MP)
- New 'no idle breathing' tweak
- A new tweaker page for difficulty settings - more fine-grained control
- For new installations of the SU, two quicksaves will now be used. Also, clear-text savegame names by default
- The Options screen multisampling slider now shows "OK" for the settings that are actually valid, and the full range of 16 values is available
- The 'Lower res while using mouselook' option is now off by default for all installs, to allow depth buffer calculations with ReShade >= 4.8.0
- 'Direct load' is now off by default. (Could cause crashes during quickload)
- Press Shift+Ctrl+Alt+End in any order to end the current mission. (Previously, End had to be pressed last)
- Fix for the option to disable gamepad phantom input. (Config key mismatch)
- Fix for the jerky camera when exiting unpaused reading mode
- Fix for the installer almost always replacing a local d3d8.dll. Should now leave a manually installed DLL alone
- Fix for SneakyTweaker going into an endless loop when the Installed Mods folder was empty
- Updated the bundled d3d8to9 DLL to commit a1f11b3e
- It is now possible to set up a self-contained and portable install (but no installer support yet)
Thief 3 Gold:
Collective Texture Pack:
- New option to disable textures specific to the training mission - for completeness, all textures can now be disabled
The Fonts mod:
- Fix for the tweaker always showing individual font textures as enabled on startup
It's amazing. Now do you recommend this mod over the last Sneaky Upgrade Fat Edition, since this is in beta and all?

is it done on purpose that I cannot knock out guards with blackjack? I mean it emphasises stealth and all tat, but was that planned?
Yes it was done on purpose that you can't use the main weapon in the game.

The patch fixed the issues in regards to lock picking and ladder climbing however it now sends many of the clicks to the desktop instead of the Full screen game. Left clicking or right clicking minimizes game which is pretty bad if every time you try to black jack or open locks the game minimizes.
Is this with this beta or 1.1.8? (Or both?)

I always run the files through VirusTotal before upload. There's almost always a few false positives but in this case it was clean. It's quite unlikely that it contains malware.
All of my saves were deleted when i installed this, no way to get them back? had 10 hours of progress on them.
No saves were deleted. Disable the T3 Gold mod and they'll be back. (T3G saves are incompatible and so kept separate.)
does it also add/keep the texture update?
All the previous mods are included. But you'll have to redo any configuration you've done to the texture pack or the other mods.

Yes, because D3D8 is not treated well by Windows 10. With the wrapper you can run on the discrete GPU of a hybrid laptop etc.
I don't know about SSAO - ReShade should work with the wrapper if that helps.

About Reshade in DX9 pointing towards the t3.exe, I´ve tried to run it. Everything works fine and I can setup the effects but when I start the mission from the briefing screen it crashes.
Try disabling 'direct load' on the troubleshooting page. There are other options there to try, such as disabling the progress bar.
Disabling direct load did it. Thanks! Loading times are basically the same for me.
If others want to go for Reshade... Didn´t test all effects but be advised that enabling the effects "SMAA" and "Eye Adaption" crashed the game for me. I´m using default Ambient Light (with disabled dirt), Adaptive Sharpen, FXAA, Gaussian Blur and Luma Sharpen.
If someone with more talent in Reshade has created a good T3 Sneaky Update profile please let me know.

Do you mean creep or crouch walk? Can you record a log file on the 'Dump' setting and PM it to me?
Never mind - you're right. MP creep is faster than orig but it shouldn't be identical to walking speed, of course.
Then, is normal walking slowed down or is creeping speed up? Because right now both feel the same to me xD

I think creeping was sped up. It's a moot point, because the bug has been fixed - thanks for reporting it! I'll try to get a new beta out in a few days.

Hello, have installed the new Mod, but it looks shity, dont know why.
Have installed with all Mods from 1-10. I cant change the resolution on "Display custom mod" have 1600(W) 900H 60HZ put it show me only then 640x480.
IIRC, when you specify a custom mode, the values must be correct. Your graphics driver may list its modes as 59 Hz. Don't you have 1600x900 available from the in-game options screen?
No, it isnt available 1600x900 in-game only 640x480. And without mod it works finde 1600x900.

Hi, I have some issue here with lockpicking the Fogerty's Gold Smithery in auldale. Can’t lockpick it from the street and from the canals also. Made some quick video to show it, have this issue only in Fogerty's Gold Smithery.

Looks like you're using the keyboard. Not all locks can be picked that way, which is rather confusing. Use the mouse for the most complex locks.
