Command and Conquer 3: The Forgotten aims to bring back and tell the story of a fascinating faction. The Forgotten, featured in Tiberian Sun and Firestorm, are an ever-growing group of individuals afflicted with Tiberium-based illnesses. Detested, marginalized, and oppressed by the three superpowers, The Forgotten have begun to rally against GDI, Nod, and the Scrin. Since their story is not featured in C&C 3, the mod aims to tell it in a compelling fashion, through a deep singleplayer campaign, unique faction composition, and engaging gameplay. The Forgotten is also the only mod to feature high-definition Full Motion Videos, just like real C&C games, that advance the story.

Hi Everyone,

Recently I've been looking back at some of my work, including this mod. In particular, I'm looking back to some of the tweaks that I originally never got around to doing. With some newly freed time on my hands and some new knowledge and skills gained from working on the Tiberium Secrets mod, I'm looking to revisit C&C 3: The Forgotten and reopen development.

So what exactly am I planning to do? I'm not exactly sure yet. While there have always been a few things that I wanted to do, at this point I'm gauging interest from anyone else to see if there is still a community and, if so, what it would want. Maybe I would implement balance changes to the original factions, or port The Forgotten over to KW. Or maybe I'm just shouting into the void. I'm not sure

For sure there would be interest in bringing this mod back!
as for suggestions, i think porting it to Kane's Wrath is a good idea. maybe even make Forgotten sub-factions? (i know that would be a tremendous task to do)
Honestly just an updated version would be more then enough for a lot of fans, and the KW port would be cool.
But new units for all factions is always nice too

I loved this mod and I think a port to KW would be cool you could give the forgotten a couple sub factions as well with specific traits

I'd certainly be open to doing KW subfactions for the Forgotten, and I have a few ideas for Forgotten subfactions.

The sticking point is that making subfactions would require making graphic and audio assets that are far beyond my ability to make. (I'm just a coder, remember.) If a had a suitable team, we could do it. But I'm not holding my breath.

Totally agree, A port to Kw would be super fun. I have enjoyed it for many hours and am still kinda sad I can use my forgotten army against the black hand or steel talons. And while they don't have the epic units or advanced things, that is still kinda their thing.

I think the point is that the forgotten would be quite underpowered when compared to the KW factions due to lack of tier 4 Epic unit but would be a fun port nevertheless and I don't think that possibility is happening soon. Also lack of modding tools for KW (Will probably take a while anyway but we can hope)

I had the impression that WrathEd would be up to the task of porting TFM code and assets over to KW. (I've never used WrathEd though, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)

The mod adds the Forgotten as a new faction and shows their storyline in the Third Tiberium War. The mod adds great stuff for the Forgotten in a pretty balanced way. I suggest you try the Sidewinders and Bulldozers, they own.
