Abeyance is the final entry into the trilogy of mods featuring the protagonist Jane Doe. Developing Abeyance was a pretty experimental and challenging experience for me as I wanted to confine everything into one single map. As a result play time is rather short but I hope someone finds some joy in this.
So lately I've been having some thoughts about doing a compilation of HTC, Autonomy Lost and Abeyance, i.e. put all of the maps from the three mods into one single big mod so it could be played as seamlessly as possible.
However, I ask here first to see if there would even be some interest in doing it in the first place. So I ask, would anyone be interested in something like this? If I would it'd be a fairly large task, i.e. I would go through each map, fix any glaring issues with them (especially the big rooms in Autonomy Lost) and spice them up a bit (especially the HTC maps since they lack the visual quality of the two later mods).
I actually started some preliminary work, although fairly minor, a couple of years ago but I stopped since I spent most of my free time mapping for the AMC TC. But lately, as I've said, I've been thinking of returning to it again.
If you're interested post your thoughts and share anything that you'd like to see fixed. Or if you'd think this whole thing would just be a huge waste of time.

This is the source file for Abeyance. Please note that it's in the JMF file format which requires the J.A.C.K. editor in order for it to work. Read the...
The full version of Abeyance, the sequel to Autonomy Lost. You only need Half-Life 1 installed in order to play it. I apologize for the rather large file...

Just discovered this one with the news about « Sum » the compiles trilogy of Jane Doe’s adventure.
Interesting and fun conclusion to the story, I liked all the details in the house of this lady HECU, and all the weird sequences after each teleport, the boot camp could have been a beautiful setting for some horror sequence.
Anyways, it was overall pretty fun to play those three maps, AL is my least favorite, the story was pretty bland besides getting out of Black Mesa. However, the main point of interest in all of those mods is your incredible skill in mapping.
really...really nice mod. Thanks
Definetely combine the mods. It would be so awesome...
Will you be making anymore mods in the future, or are you moving on from this?
It's visually really good. The platforming parts were not very fun but all around it's a good experience. Good job!
Nice work I like the models and the level design work, are the models yours ?
No, the models are from Gamer-lab.com.
A single map?
If it is anything like your previous work I think we can all agree it would be a pretty solid experience.
Yeah, only one map. It took like 5 months to finish though, working on it on and off (busy with real life unfortunately).
