Ered Luin has a chance to go evil by accepting the Dwarven rings from Sauron. The other actions do not make much sense because they all have lore enmity against the forces of Shadow in one way or another...
Is there anywhere i can view the full roster of the Byzantines. I want to see if they have flamethrowers
It's easier for them to release the full version once and only once when they iron out all the bugs and issues that the BETA might have (very few from my experience). It is seriously not a big deal.
If you already have a Discord account it will take you a maximum of probably 5 clicks in total to install the mod, it even comes with its own installer and launcher now. It's designed to be the easiest install yet, just for you.
If you're going to wildly complain about being too lazy to click 5 times, that is purely your problem.
To answer all of your questions:
Is V5 out?
Version 5 of DaC IS currently out to play. It is in a BETA state over at the Divide & Conquer Discord which you can join here Discord.gg
Should I play the BETA?
Yes. You should. It is basically a full release and it has a ton of new features, including Yavanna's Union, the Reunited Kingdom & Arnor, the Buzra-dûm Balrog, and the Dunland/Enedwaith complete roster overhauls.
Why isn't V5 on ModDB?
Once V5 exits BETA state, it will be uploaded to ModDB as a full release
When this mod is released it will become the spearhead of Bannerlord modding. The PoP of Bannerlord. I cannot wait
does this give Byzantines flamethrowers
Trebizond has been done forever now. Is there any estimation as to when they are coming out?
I can imagine this being extremely "later down the line", so to speak, however does the idea of flamethrowers and/or naphtha bombs for Rhûn interest you guys enough to consider making them features for their troops? I think it would really give Rhûn a lot of flare and make them a force to be reckoned with in the east, after Mordor.
Whenever you guys post these images it's just like the biggest flex in the Bannerlord community
do you plan to feature distant lands like Asshai or perhaps have a few references to Yi Ti? sorry if this was asked before
Is there anyway I can contact you? I might be interested in helping restore this project
Might I suggest elaboration then on the crafting question in the FAQ? Could be a bit misleading
Will Thamaskene steel be replaced by Middle-earth specific things like Mithril or elven/dwarven metals?
yeah the diversity in the 3 Byzantine successor states is awesome, glad they made it like that
I am so hyped for this ****. Exactly what I expected medieval Romans to look like. Will this overhaul be released soon? 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 the masculine urge to reform the Roman Empire...
I was just wondering; I saw the new Byzantine models and I absolutely love them. I think it looks like you've made every single Byzantine faction really thematic, with one looking more Byzantine as it technologically progresses and the others looking a lot more western and plated instead. Are these new roster overhauls going to be released soon or will they be released later on along with a bigger update?
Are there any plans to improve the efficiency of Cheirosiphonatores? In Stainless Steel/Medieval II they are incredibly good but require mastery to use, yet with Cheirosiphonatores, their volleys tend to go too far over the enemy's heads to cause sufficient damage. As a flamethrower enthusiast, seeing them in-game was really cool but they are sort of a let down when comparing to previous titles. I still love the unit though. Thanks for adding it, just my thoughts
Divide and Conquer vibes
Will this mod have explosive stuff from Shogun 2? I assume Sengoku and Sengoku Jidai are the same thing, so can we expect to see fire bombs, hand mortars, or fire rockets at all?
In Bannerlord at the moment, armor is practically non-existent and seemingly only for cosmetic purposes. You can plough through a line of Legionnaires with a bunch of Vlandian peasants because every unit in the game can be 2 - 3 shotted by a farming tool. Will Kingdoms of Arda feature some sort of increased armor/health value multiplier, akin to that of Warband? I really don't want to see mithril-wearing dwarves get mowed down by a bunch of snaga.
It's a great suggestion. Perisno needs an extreme amount of polishing and a lot more features to feel as complete as Pendor, for instance. Some of the features he suggested are really fun.
>remember Perisno exists
>get excited to play it
>start it up
>play, have fun for 5 minutes
>get into battle
>remember sprint exists
>every NPC uses sprint
>close the game
>few months pass
>repeat
REMOVE. SPRINT. it is such god awful feature. high tier units zoom around the map like horses. i am not capable of holding alt whilst fighting the entire god damn time. i literally just quit the game because of it.
at the very least add an option to disable it
Will there be any unique, household units that the player can recruit through unique systems? Sort of like Pendor's Knighthood Orders, or Red Fletcher Archers from Pendor as well(household troop of a Sarleon lord), stuff like that.
Finally, will you guys support and/or allow submods for your mod? I can't way to play Kingdoms of Arda however the news that the player won't be able to create his or her factions disappoints me and I know that your stances on that won't change, however others will definitely try to change that with submods. Will you be allowing that sort of stuff or will that be discouraged?
Perisno is an awesome mod. I've been playing it for such a very long time now however after playing it for so long I've noticed that it is severely lacking in something: immersion. As a kid the mod drew me in seamlessly because I overlooked the missing features. My suggestions are to completely fix all typos and the way some quests are written because there are many that lack proper sentence structure and punctuation such as the quests in the Realm of the Falcon if I remember correctly.
Further, I think it would be best to write a bunch of other quests that can keep the player constantly busy; quests that the player would not tire of. The balancing in Prophesy of Pendor, for example, is extremely well put together. Early game you prioritize either building your character or the foundation of your army, mid-game you take on Knighthood Order quests and the search for Qualis Gems whilst spreading your right-to-rule, whilst end-game you take on Unique Spawns and factions. Perisno needs some sort of progressive feel to it that isn't just build your army, take over castle, and repeat.
I think the Assassins of Ral'Daiun are practically BEGGING for quest content, as well as the focus of exploring new lands such as the archipelagoes to the west. Perhaps some sort of questline to infiltrate the Zann when they invade? You guys have so much potential for quests.
Do you plan to do a banner overhaul for all factions? SS is very old and the banners are looking quite outdated and it would be nice to have some new banners.
Is Ar-Gimilkhâd going to have the same model he currently has? His dark golden face-masked model looks awesome and it would be cool if he had a revamped version of that.
Thank you! Communication is so important when it comes to mods or games and this means the most.

"The Ñoldor were accounted the greatest of the Elves and all the peoples in Middle-earth in lore, warfare and crafts. In Valinor "great became their knowledge and their skill; yet even greater was their thirst for more knowledge, and in many things they soon surpassed their teachers. The Ñoldor were changeful in speech, for they had great love of words, and sought ever to find names more fit for all things they knew or imagined"." - Accounts of the Ñoldor
