the lato guy is me, and the mod was already posted here long time ago by me. However, 1.4.1 seem to be the last version and there wont be any new version in near future, means all bugs and unfinished stuff will stay as it is for now.
PS: Gamepressure reuploaded it from moddb, and named me (Lato) as the creator of the mod, however, i never uploaded it to gamepressure, nor i am the creator of the mod. The creator of the mod is a guy from brazil.

which software are you using for exporting vehicles & weapons to bf2?
and where are the tutorials for exporting vehicles & weapons to bf2 ? because all old links are dead and i found only an half-assed tutorial for exporting planes.
if you applied for the creator DLC programm and you sell your mod as DLC, im sure im gonna buy it. You deserve the support.

2 questions about the WiC custom unit limit which you can mod into the game:
1. When i go over 256 UnitTypes, what happens is that game will run out of allocated memory during loading screen and i'll see game just freezing up or map loading's progress bar never advancing past middle point for minutes on end and eventually i'll have to kill the game to get out of it.
However, my question about this is: Does it ALWAYS happen when i go over 256 unittypes? or does the freeze happen randomly, means sometimes the map loads, sometimes not ?
2. Do you have any plan or idea how to crack or bypass the UnitTypes limit ?

i have a question: what 3dsmax version do you use? currently im into battlefield vietnam (which is basically bf1942 but with few engine changes).

yes i saw some videos about this minimod, but never played it, its awesome and the quality of the meshes arent bad on the bf2 engine
you gonna add content from Bf1942 expansions (secret weapons of ww2 and road to rome) too ?
this is awesome! but you gonna have a hard time, especially when it comes to the naval part, because there are several problems due to the bad physic engine of BF2 but i think you are aware of that.
For example, the lions roar mod has aircraft carriers, usable with jets on it, but its pretty unstable and cause CTD.
i think there is no way to have walkable ships & aircraft carriers while they move on the BF2 engine, but lions roar mod did successful add jets and helicopters on the moveable aircraft carriers, not sure what the CTD causes tho.
hope its not related to big meshes (like the aircraft carrier)

so if you gonna recreate BF1942 in BF2, this means you are gonna add EVERYTHING that bf1942 offered? like naval combat, destroyer, submarines and aircraft carriers ?
one question: you announced new maps your team has created, does the new maps has shadows for all objects? because i have read somewhere that maps have to be created with bf2editor and that bf2142 works, but is unsupported and that there are issues and that new maps created for bf2142 has no shadows is one of them

also its the only war game out there that allows you to play as infantry and use tanks, planes from all sizes, cars, boats, submarines, ships, helicopters (with addons or mods) while its modable and no force to be online.

this mod is awesome and the idea (korean war) is something unique we do not see in many games. too bad you decided to use BF2 for it because bfvietnam or bf1942 would require less work and you have some more possibilities there like proper naval warfare which were also part of the korean war, but its the final decision and its still one of the best mods

do you use all content from USI (i hope so) ? or just a few stuff from it? because the mod contain alot vehicles & weapons which fits into the gulf war era, maybe if you ask for permission maybe you can use all of it.
- for the gulf war, maybe you can create a coalition as faction, since USA was not the only country as you mentioned. the good thing is when you use a coalition as faction: you dont have to create every country as a seperate faction. You could use this as flag: Psywar.org and then you can make it similar to the NaW mod which has different soldiers in one team (USA assault kit, German Anti Tank etc for example) or you could give the coalition faction just unique camo to both soldiers & vehicles.
but this is not a must ofcourse, it would also take time, maybe you start first with the factions you have and maybe change it later.
- before the second gulf war began, there was some sort of revolution in iraq where saddam government fought against iraqi rebels (shia i think) and it took one month and killed 100.000 people total. since you have all of the stuff there, you could create also this war/insurgency warfare, you only need to add one insurgent faction, there is the middle eastern insurgent faction you can use and retexture, give them the insurgent flag and bam you have everything ready for the conflict. here a link about the uprising: En.wikipedia.org
these are just ideas, but this will be the best iraq war mod for bf2
DayZ is not a success, ok maybe a money success for Bohemia Interactive but the game is a big fail, its in early access since over 4 years and game is far from complete. the reviews on steam are very bad because many peoples are tired.
also this is going to be another early access game. seems like devs nowadays need urgent money and release theyr games as early access.
better than BF1
i would recommend to wait until both mods are "finished" or development ends, because if one of those mods release a new version and you want to play with the new update, you have to do everything again.
if both mods are finished, then you can port the remake stuff to elite force.
i for myself have integrated the expansion into stock swat 4 game, after that, i ported all the stuff from elite force into the stock game (from V3 still, this is why its better to wait), and then i ported all the content from remake to my stock swat 4 which includes the expansion and elite force content & features. oh and remember you have to keep it private, i mean not releasing anything without permission.
to the dev: your mod is awesome. especially the new feature to select your gun. it will be much easier for me to select all the remake weapons in future when i put them into elite force.
