Revan has been doing just amazing.... I have been able to teach him my style of texturing which he is now doing without much assistance and since his work on the TIE fighters, this is officially his first big ship texture....
I think some of you might be fans of this ship....
Maybe I missed this earlier but I didn't realize this wasn't a texture of your own making. That said, Revan should see that as a compliment as he obviously mimics the style well enough that I was fooled until I read this post. Lol. This ship is incredible.
Revan has done amazing work with ground buildings and the whole TIE series. But yes, the consistency in art style is most outstanding part. Being able to texture is one thing, being able to keep in line with the style is another.
Some might call it lazy, but a consistent style across a all objects in a game, a consistent art direction can make or break the experience.
Calling it "lazy" only proves that person has no clue what they are talking about. Our textures are incredibly difficult to create, and maintaining a uniform design aesthetic for over 300 textured models is the greatest challenge ever attempted in this modding community, especially considering how many different artists we have worked with who all have very unique and different styles.

Yes, there will be one.
Most, if not all capital ships will have a build limit.
i hope it's like 20-30 or higher
Technically there is a hard and a soft limit.
The hard limit has yet to be determined (20-30 is really high though, considering how many ships we have), but the soft limit is a direct consequence of whether you're able to pay for the unit upkeep.
