The Nebula-Class Star Destroyer was the most technologically advanced warship of the New Republic fleet. More heavily armored and faster than a MC90, the Nebula was the chosen ship to lead assault missions into heavy enemy space.

- 4 heavy triple mon cal turbolasers
- 18 heavy dual mon cal turbolasers
- 24 medium dual mon cal turbolasers (better accuracy vs fighters)
- 27 medium dual turbolasers
- 20 light ion cannons
- 2 wing mounted heavy ion cannons
- 8 flank mounted concussion missile launchers
- 1 K-wing
- 2 Defender star fighters
- 1 E-wing
- 1 X-wing
Special Abilities:
- Deploy Fighters
- Tractor Beam (passive)
- Evade (power to engines and power to shields)

Compared to the MC90, the Nebula was more of a capital ship hunter while the MC90 was better suited to fleet engagements. The Nebula was faster, could easily defend from all types of enemy craft and had enough enough firepower to fight warships much larger in size. The speed of the Nebula and its ability to engage Power to Shields and Power to Engines at the same time allowed it to out manuever its enemies and disable them with the powerful heavy ions. While the MC90 had much more firepower and heavier shields, the Nebula's speed proved it to be a deadlier ship in combat.
BTW, amazing job to revan( i keep getting confused because people call me that on the TR Forums) on this ship

One can only hope but the verbal description of the front looking like a hatchet doesn't sound like it would look quite the same. Apart from that though it sounds like it.

Its canon in this universe, i hate the saying "lets make this canon again" as if that really matters.
Well seeing it on the big screen would matter in a good space battle like Rogue one had. Would be so much better than a bunch of beefed up Y8 mining vessels like we saw in the EP 8 trailer.
It matters for people who still get butthurt by the new canon. But yeah, it really shouldn't.
The description for the Starhawks is still rather vague, other than the hatchet-front, so can't really say "it sounds like it."
Its just, I can't stand the phrasing. It's canon to the EU but not to Disney. That's all. I personally prefer disney making content from their own ideas vs taking stuff from the EU, but thats just my preference, not any form of being butt hurt.

so i have to comment on this
1 plasma turret. now that is very interesting seeing as that's the vong weapon of choice. other then striping shields with doven basils
anyway i have to remember that the plasma win the Star War universe was described as being extremely powerful but readily lost its power due to the fact that the plasma cooled very fast. how are you tackling this?
