Tiberium Wars Advanced seeks to bring the game closer to its Westwood roots while also maintaining the unique new flavor that Tiberium Wars brought to the series. New units, abilities, structures, strategies and a fresh gameplay experience are just a few of the things TWA brings to the table. With updated gameplay that brings the "Strategy" back into RTS and removes the "zerg rush" mentality, TWA is a mod that will appeal to both die-hard, base-building Westwood fans and those relatively new to the franchise alike. The Model was made by Golan and is based on the C&C3 Scorpion Tank.
it looks cooler but i cant tell the difference
Perhaps you should at least feel it to know that it looks cooler. ;-)
Good job!
Reminds me of one of the concept arts, but better.
Much cooler! Great job!
Ah much better!
very good texture....and yes...the model looks better...(but don't know why !)
the tank turret isn't on the right side of the cockpit anymore, it's on the back, and it is now attached to the back of the shield-like front.
Very very nice Golan much more rugged and less plastic-on-wheels than the original left me feeling. If I may make a suggestion, the entire concept of a scorpion (at least to me) is a very deadly, rather fast creature packing quite a bit of punch to compensate for its relatively weak body. Don't get me wrong, compared to a lot of small creatures a scorpion is pretty well armored but that's the point - it attacks creatures it has a significant advantage over. My thought is, why not give the Scorpion Tank a little extra bite in favor of some armor? Perhaps even adding a second cannon to visually portray the added lethality? To me, a weaker but decidedly more lethal tank represents Nod much better. Again, just a thought and again - excellent model!
*at the cost of some armor* not "...in favor of..."
My mistake, didn't catch it in time for the 5 minute edit.
We've been experimenting with increasing the Scorpions firepower at the cost of side and back armor, but playtesting will have to proof if this change will stay in the final version.
