And for the very end, it's worth repeating again TLD is primarily based on Tolkien's books, not on Peter Jackson's movies. So no need to ask about plate armour, uruk-hai crossbows, odd elven blades and other movie inventions.

We will be deleting/ignoring comments/questions that are flaming, rude or about LOTR movies stuff, Warband, bugreports and tech support. These have all been addressed in the manual and forums a million times before.

Is it possible to extend the map west to Rivendell and the Shire and Arnor and all that? or at least in the Warband version? the map feels small compared to maps from other mods like the Europe map in Anno Domini 1257. also, i feel like the map could have more random villages in it and whatnot, but thats just me.

Also, are you going to add the mod to the Workshop when you finish this next patch? I say do it now and add the quick fixes. The mod runs nicely as it is, just gotta ignore the minor stuff, worst one being the where you can use another factions res points to pay for your troops that belong to another faction. I know it's fixed, but it's not part of the quick fixes.

Firstly, the mod is based on Tolkien's books, not the movies - Even so, you do know that in the movies, the people of Harad and Rhun look completely different? The Rhunnic people are the Easterlings in gold-plate armor, and the Harradrim are the barbaric-looking people atop the Mumakils.

And Umbar has got a city, on the coast in Gondorian lands.

I know the mod is orginally based on the books, but it's open source and other people have been tweaking with it for a while.
The location of the Corsairs in the game is the Bay of belfafas, and the actual city is far south of it.(This is in the books and the maps that come with the books. Umbar is at the coast of Gondor as a forward main base to safely receive necessities from back home. Same thing with the lone Rivendell Camp.

We don't need to have a much bigger map showing the other locations(Such as the Shire) outside of the map we're shown in TLD, because the focus is on the war of the North with the Elves, all the way to the South in Gondor. That's all we need, again, because this mod focuses on war, and does remove a lot from what we're used to in Native with mods. I'm ok with that. They've created a great mod. Just please keep the Strategy tweaks for us to mess with and give us more options. A manual with that would be nice too.

Awesome mod. I just started playing mount and blade last week and I found this. Does anyone know how to recruit an Olog hai troll from mordor? I have a moria troll from Saruman but I can't find a mission for modor to get a troll.

Everything into TLD main, overwrite old files. BUT Wargs.brf file goes into Resources, overwrite as well.

You must start a new game now. You cannot use a previous save.

You will come across script errors and immersive text like "Zapdog", "We interrupt this Tolkien", or "NO WAI TROLL FAT" or stuff like that. It just means the files installed correctly.

Wait for the next warband Patch.

This mod is utterly incredible! Everywhere I look I see the four years it took to make this world. From the orcs to the elven armor. The detail is staggering, every scene lovingly crafted, almost every armor textured to perfection. +5 The mod is well balanced and the immersion is total and complete. Great graphics side(excepts from some minor issues like terrible Isengard buildings), new shaders (windy flora!) bus scripting siede is comeplatly failed compared to that what dev team promised. Gameplay becomes booring too soon.
