I should have deleted a lot of unused textures and stuff with the new standalone 7z, what a loss opportunity. The profile background has a harsh transition on both sides... And the manual should have been a bit more specific in the installation part, as it was made before doing the patch proper.
Maybe I should have waited to fix the crashes before doing an early release, who knows, there's a lot of stuff that makes me dizzy.

What does copying the dinput8 file do?
It's a loader serving the game all the files it needs in the exact order it needs them. You don't have to activate it or anything, it works automatically when you start the game.
The new version of Iron Launcher, it's mainly for M&B 1.011, corrects limitations of the engine allowing total modularity so you don't have to copy files. It allows you to use TLD in M&B 1.011 coexisting like a normal mod. Works like a plugin, fixing engine logic.
In Warband it just plays the TLD intro video. At least, for the moment.

I downloaded for mount and blade one a small mod that takes almost any textures that are high quality and that makes people instead not crash, for the proof i checked it and putted everything off limits, like using battle size changer and make battles gigantic. It never crashes it just staggers a lot. Now sadly the small mod that makes the mod easier to play and not let it %R;ASH%% is not for warband so basicly I AM DOOMED!

You could have tried with a more generic:
"Hey, I crashed somehow, help me!"
The result would be the same. And I don't get payed for doing this.
Is there a download that does not require winrar for this. i had already used my trial period and dont have the money to renew the winrar program. i really enjoy the lotr settning and have the third age for total war medeval 2.
I don't use WinRAR, I use 7-zip.org , which is open source, free and has better compression ratio. In fact, the 7z format used to pack the releases has been compressed with the latest version of 7zip. WinRAR just happens to open 7z files.
Peazip is a decent alternative. Just watch out where you download it from. Malware re-packers of open source software are all over the place.

i am soo close i can taste it. now i have this problem coming up during load up screen something about. RGL error get_shader failed for: windy_flora.
can someone help me try to fix this problem. the screen loads up with the writting kinda missing parts it gets to the end and they the machine dings and thats whats behind the m&B window. i tried following the instructions but something seems to eluding me.oh and i am using M&B and it says its the newest update on it.
ok ok i am reading the manual and eyes are gettings crossed. sigh. lol must get tired of saying this to people. but if i get everything up and going good i'll let ya know. oh and i got 7z seems to work unzipping pretty good.

When I download those two patches they become TLD_3.37z files not folders which appear in your video, and i extract them to the proper place they are named TLD_3.3 and TLD_3.3_wbcompat.1, two separate files in modules file not one TLD file like it appears on your video, i do copy the dinput8.dll to the mane warband file just fine though. How come yours extract completely different from mine?
Then the TLD folders will be in each one of these folders.
It's pretty easy, you just have to understand that every mod is a folder under /Modules, but, for TLD you also need to overwrite the files in that folder with a patch for it to work fine.

I did watch the vid everything did work, even the intro but then there is always the "RGL WARNING" could not load 'load_menu_back_a' and then when I click on ok the game starts with the loadingscreen of Native and when the loadingscreen is fully loaded it crashes and I get a lot of others warnings: 'hlsl_data_handles(5)' and a lot of other numbers. Please help because I would really like it when I could play the mod.

Try it with the version 1.158. It worked for me!
the problem with the download is fixed but now there is another problem. Every time when I attack a party with a number that is larger than 100 the game crashes. Any ideas to fix this? thx for responding
is there a fix to the 'load_menu_back_a' and 'hlsl_data_handles(*)' errors? i'm playing m&b warband ver. 1.143 and did everything according to the video above. any help would be appreciated

the Fix Is simple delete the TDL Mod From Your mod folder in warband reinstall it with out The patch and after that Install the Patch in the Modules Folder NOT THE TDL it self
Hi, does ANYONE have a solution to the windy_flora error. I somehow got past the "load_menu_back_a" and the "data_handles" errors. The game loads normally with TLD in the top-left corner but then the game crashes and I have the "get_shader failed for: windy_flora". Again, any solution to this?
Strange... I forgot to paste the dinput8.dll file and I didn't have problems with the "load_menu_back_a" error. Now, that I've pasted the dll file I got the error once again.
HI can anyone Help me my games launcher works fine and when I start the game the Intro works but after it's over I get a RGL warning could not load "load_menu_back_a" and after that I get another RGL error "Failed to assemble shader specular_shader_man from file" any Fix would Be Graet Thanks

followed the files everything, when i do what you do for puting the patch in, i get this error.

Its that postfx, it does the exact same thing to both mount and blade games when copying files to the module TDL, i tested running game and crashes after vanilla intro video.
So i have no idea what that is and yes i am using winRAR.
