Dawn of the Tiberium Age (DTA) is a stand-alone mod that combines Tiberian Dawn (C&C 95) and Red Alert. While classic mode gets as close to the original game-play and balance as possible, Enhanced mode provides improved game balance and a lot of fun new stuff. DTA features many customization options for Skirmish and multiplayer (where you can play as GDI, Nod, Allies and Soviet on over 200 maps), challenging original singleplayer missions, as well as co-op missions. Since this is a stand-alone mod, you don't require anything but the mod itself to be able to play: the original game is not required.

That is awesome! Other mods could use that as well.

Description

In addition to introducing Mechanics, at the DTA R&D labs I've lately also been paying attention to improving the harvester schools. Ever had your harvesters behave strangely when you've had more harvesters than refineries? Maybe you've had multiple outposts in different parts of the map, and your harvesters have spent most of their time wandering between the outposts instead of collecting and unloading tiberium? This has been a common source of pain for players of TS and its mods, and now it's history. Harvesters will now stick to using their closest refineries, queueing if necessary. They will never wander to the other side of the map for a temporarily free refinery only to block it from a closer harvester later on.

Pay special attention to how at 0:18 the harvesters on the left wait patiently for their turn on the refinery despite that the refinery on the right side is free. Without this patch, the harvesters on the left would've also used the refinery on the right, the harvester on the right would've then went to refineries on the left, and my economy would've been destroyed by the harvesters spending most of their time on movement between the refineries.
