Weapon Audio 8 comments(RWS) Real Weapon Sounds Replaces all weapons + Explosive sounds with real recorded sounds.
This is my first mod ever made that I feel was good enough to release. It started out as a small mod for my own personal use but quickly turned out to take a few weeks of work to finish. Sadly I cannot guarantee that I will keep this mod updated and or tweaked. I am not a sound editor or computer wizard so these sounds are not the cleanest.
Warning! these sounds are somewhat loud so start with low volume in game, I am not responsible if you blow up your eardrums or your game.... or computer.
Replaces pretty much all weapons + explosives such as flashbangs, c2 charges, gas canisters etc.
Some small tweaks have been made to other sounds such as
Paintball gun, projectiles - Lower sound volume only
Bullets hitting flesh - Lower sound volume only. If you do not want this just skip installing SW_bullets.uax
Bugs: Only one that I know is that sometimes the game skips playing some sounds, this has been a problem for me in the original game with no mods. It seems to happen when there are too many sounds being played at once. I do not know why or how to fix this or if this is even the actual problem, it has never been bad enough for me to search for a solution tough.
Installing this mod should be simple just drag and drop all the files from this mods folders to the corresponding folders in your game directory. (make backups of your original files)

I got these sounds from Youtube looking at videos of real guns being fired and mixing some of them together also using some explosion and even firework videos to get some of the initial blast and echo sounds from.
Is there any way to make this work with the First Responders mod?
Don't know for sure but if First Responders mod changes or replaces any weapon sounds then install my mod after First Responders then I think it should work.
How can I modify the sounds of weapons in swat 4?
I use a program called SwatEd, I think there are some videos on Youtube about it.

Hi I have answered this exact question on the Youtube video of this mod so I might reply to the same person here but I will post what I wrote and what the user on Youtube did to fix it.

''I have never heard of this problem before but it sounds like there is something wrong with the zip file or the program you are using to extract the files with.
I would try to download the mod again something might have been corrupted in the files when downloading it?
If that doesn't work I would shut off any anti virus programs that may be in the way since they can act really stupid sometimes and stop you from opening and using certain files?
If that doesn't work I would download or redownload 7zip, I believe you might be using Winrar? and there could be a problem with extracting 7zip files using Winrar so try to download 7zip and use that to extract the files with?
If none of that works then I don't know what the problem could be, A simple restart of the computer might do it or there could be a program or windows itself that needs to update something?

does this mod compatible with Elite Force mod?
Yes this mod replaces all weapon sounds for the original Swat game the Stetchkov Syndicate expansion and the Elite Force mod.
Install my mod last so it can replace the Elite Force weapon sounds.🙂
