An expansion/overhaul mod of epic proportions, with entirely rebalanced gameplay, expanded factions, new gametypes, graphical overhauls, and five new factions; stealth-based Confederate Revolutionaries, tower defense-inspired Atomic Kingdom of China, economy-focused Mediterranean Syndicate, DotA-esque Order of the Talon and spammy Electrical Protectorate.
A new addition has been spotted in the Confederate arsenal, in the form of the old Bulldog tank destroyers. The rebels seem to have reactivated the old fibre-optic camouflage systems, so stay alert; they could literately be anywhere.

It's more of the glows and blurs that the DX shaders and RNA like to apply rather than the actual lack of detail on the textures.(CnC3's edition of SAGE had the same issue but not as bad); of course, you will see this as soon as you get your own units ingame. If you look closely the detail is there, it's just blurred and too little contrast. You have to compensate in the texture by sharpening everything and knocking up the contrast so RNA can display it - this is why many of RA3 textures have quite a bit of contrast to them.
Yeah, now I see what you meant regarding the sharpen filters... They really do help a lot (though current build of Paradox has yet to include the newer ones).

Sorta. If you look through history, older tanks have increasingly smaller turrets. Compare a Sherman to a Abrams. In order to emphasis that, we went for a smaller-than-normal turret.
Sherman got quite a big turret, when it will be the same size as Abrams, i think Abrams will got smaller :P But nevermind, but still it looks strange that it got that small turret anyway :)
By looking at the previous screenshots you've posted, it seems like there is just something wrong with either this single screenshot or because of the snow.
All the other images seem perfect.
I wasn't thinking of the lighting when I took this shot; I actually chose the map because it allows me to zoom in so far, which in hindsight was not a great choice considering the diffused lighting.

The tank with the flag, perhaps it would look better with the flag draped on the back? Like the German panzers used in WW2. The idea was for easy identification by friendly ground and aerial units to the rear....not the people you're firing the gun at!
Doesn't it kind of ruin the guerrilla look of the Confederates? A rusty and camoflauged tank with a BRIGHT BOLD FLAG draped over the turret just doesn't work for me.
They are really good models, i just think the flag would look better on the back of the tank! But its not up to me obviously.....
wouldn't the exhaust blacked/burn the flag?
the confed wouldn't want that...
That flag won't always be there; once all of our veteran and upgrade systems are in place, it'll appear once a tank has hit lvl3 veterancy.
