Missing Information aims to recreate Valve's original Half-Life 2 storyline found in Raising the Bar.
This thing is gonna creep me out!..
Going to? It already creeps me out!
It looks like a human that has had there head replaced and there upper legs removed, with a pokeball like object lodged in there body. It doesn't get more creepier then that
The "pokeball" is its stomach. The nozzle on the end connects to the immolator where it pumps corrosive stomach acid into it to spray on dead bodies.
i prefered pokeball.
Whatever floats your boat.
Sorry Jordan, ur not getting one! >83
its just the combine version of bellybutton ;)
Just goes to show that the combine are sick beyond all imagining.
Hey Nice But i think that the colour of the arms could be slightley more...gray? It just seems they look a bit to human =P
I meant creep me out in game! I heard the sounds a cremator makes, it shuffles around slowly making a wheezing breathing noise! @.@
GOTTA SHOOT EM' ALL
Gamerman fails at funny.
Yeah, wait till it picks up his ******' fire canon ****.
what I'd like to know is what that cloth is meant to be hiding. And why it has only four fingers.
The middle was cut off so it couldn't give the Advisors the finger.
That's the joke.
looks slightly like a Stalkler Judging from Arms and skin colour that would be such a twist XD
It's textured prowler time! :P
I hope you guys will have some good sounds as well, to make this thing into proper walking nightmare fuel :)
it looks absolutely incredible, better than valve.
Really nice. Looking forward to see its immolator in action!
cool, can't wait to see the cremator in combat ^^
cant wait for the animations on that thing! really nice guys
nice! This is that uggly son of a ... a combine, who is has this huge flamethrower right? =D
funny thing is evil =D but that head and the thing in eli's lab looks differently =O ...
looking forward for some new thigs from beta ... Im just curious ... if you gonna resurect whole rising of the barr ? ... I mean whole old map, and original locations ...waste land, borelias, city 17, air exchange...
From what I've read until now I think they will.
Yes. It'll be in episodes though.
hope they dont go all VALVe and cancel episode 3 for a few years.
Really great texture.
The model looks awesome too.
Lovely repro ^^
Is this npc going to be an aggressive enemy or a reactive enemy? In the beta they only attacked if provoked or so I heard.
There's no code for it in the leak, but it was assumed that it only attacked when provoked until the final C17 chapters where it attacked anything that's not Combine.
Where is possible to find it either in the leak maps or this mod? I want to see it wandering around!
I hope I never run into one of these gu-things... What is that orange ball on his right hand for?
How are we able to use the immolator then?
Yank it off his dead body.
I don't know how we're going to use the immolator if it uses his stomach acids, but I've never been much of one to care about realism in games.
The model is perfect. I can't wait to see it in action with the rest of the game.
There's acid stored in the guns, his stomach just replenishes it, you get more ammo by salvaging it from other immolators.
Man, this brings back memories of when hl2 was epic, and longer.
Excellent work. Still not sure about the fishnet stocking look on his belly though. Makes him look a little like an extra from the Rocky Horror Picture Show cast. lol...
Looks like a cultist of some sort.
That looks very cool. Maybe it's head could be a little greener though to mach the head in Eli's lab though.
The reason it's green is because there's a green light in the jar.
That cremator looks sweet.
However, I prefer the monochrome, black leather trenchcoat seen in the concept art. Hopefully someone will skin it, or maybe if things go well, I'll save up enough and get accepted into the school I'm looking out for so I can do it myself.
Nothing indicated that the concept was black leather.
"Nothing indicated that the concept was black leather."
Well the most famous piece of concept art was this:
You are correct that nothing there indicates the color as it is monochrome nor the material on the clothes because of the debatable fabric. It was the first time I saw the Cremator and have been influenced.
However look at this art depicting the cut Borealis level:
Look at that enemy unit closest to view. Note the shape of the collar, head and gun. That's not an Overwatch soldier. That's a cremator!
That's very, very obviously a Combine soldier. Cremators don't walk like that, their heads aren't black, they don't glow on the sides, the collar isn't shaped like that, they're taller, their guns don't look like that and most importantly, you'll never see one on the Borealis.
