It's great that the developers provide us an opportunity to support them and give them incentive for their work. But I will be honest, I won't be playing these games. Not because I think these games aren't worth it, but simply because I can't afford it. Wake up kiddies, not everyone's financial situation is as blessed as yours, and I can't go spending my wallet on every single mod that goes indie. Hell, I've been stuck with Halo and the Orange Box for 5 years. I'm only ticked off because I'm missing out on the action.

I noticed a comment you made on the site recently about needing a HL2 mod fix. I was going to suggest a mappack by Leon Fpsbanana.com , but since your friends, you've probably played it. It's really very good !

I couldn't ask for a better mapping style than Leons. It's my favorite type of game play !

it is a great shame that, with game system requirements getting higher and higher, we can only wonder how long our computers will manage to keep up...
Pretty good from my perceptive, as I have to clear out a few journals a week from the message list. Though I expect more members the closer we get to the releases of the Soldier update for Team Fortress 2 and Black Mesa.
