Brings back memories of camping with the Oddball. The only change I'd make is make it a bit less wide and slope the inside rampish orange bit a bit more (as in round it out). It seems a bit flat in that area instead of the more rounded Covenant design style. Other than that looks great.

Actually, looking at Snowbound again, disregard everything I said. It matches Snowbound a lot more this way.

Really? It brings me memories of FFA Sword Slayer. Using an energy sword to systematically slaughter everyone inside that little bunker makes you feel like a God.

I'm going to have to go with Oddball on this one. I got my Overkill achievement using the the shield doors in combination with the oddball.

I'd have to agree on the rounding as for the orange I think a dark blue instead would be good

Well it looks a bit more like Forerunner architecture rather than Covenant.

Maybe a bit more curves?

Anyway, this mod is great

Thanks everyone :) There will be some features added to the side you cannot currently see that may help round it out some. Otherwise, it is basically the building from Snowbound so I don't want the overall design to change too much.

maybe an animation would be in place to give it a bit more covenant to it dont you agree ?

I think the top looks too plain and homogenous from this angle. Maybe some plasma batteries could be added to it?

Rossko Dec 11 2011, 1:17pm says:

Can I be honest here? I think it looks a bit basic to be covenanty. I just think that it could do with an additional few bits and bobs that make it look more alive and more complex which is what I always think of the Covenant as being when it comes to their sick architecture :P.

Normally im open minded but guys, the building is based on the structure on the Snowbound looks almost exactly like it. I will change a few things but overall, the design is pretty damn close to the original. Dont know what to say...

Rossko Dec 11 2011, 1:44pm replied:

I can understand you don't want to tweak it much due to it being practically canon... but hey, every building is different even if following design plans specifically :P. But even then, I just feel it could do with a few animations at least to make it look more alive. Maybe some sort of energy flow going the diodes or something.

That makes sense. Maybe i can add energy bands the flow up either of those pylons. Must construct additional pylons.

Imo. Round the edges of the walkway, scale the walkway inwards, add sort of rounded walls to it, and maybe throw some rounded extrusions between the doorway and the walkway so it isnt as angular (No, I dont care for the True halo game design of it, i just think it would be better aesthetically.)

You should work with the guys over at Covenant at War, they have the space part completed, you guys have the ground completed. If you guys work together it would make one helluva mod.
