It is the year 2552 and the human race faces the greatest threat that it has ever known: A fanatical alien consortium, hellbent on our complete annihilation. Unbeknownst to us, we colonized worlds and unburied ancient alien technology that the so-called "Covenant" considers sacred. By complete accident we simultaneously announced our presence in the galaxy and labeled ourselves heretics.
And so the extermination began...
It didn't take long for our worlds to fall and in the short span of only a few years, billions of lives were lost with hardly an account given for them. Humanity now stands on the precipice of extinction and YOU are the fulcrum on which our destiny is balanced. Will you stand against the zealous Covenant and fight a desperate war for survival, or will you choose the path of the alien and stomp out the scum of humanity forever in the name of your gods?

Hello everyone!
I just wanted to drop this line in and let everyone know that my two Moddb sites may experience a severe lack of updating in the future. Work on the mods will still happen but at a much slower pace.
Last Thursday (May 2nd) my fiance was in a car accident and suffered a broken pelvis, small lung puncture, and several other injuries. While the injuries were light, considering the type of impact and damage to her vehicle, they are still quite painful and she will not be able to walk for several months and requires a great deal of help getting around and performing ordinary tasks. My future mother-in-law is doing a phenomenal job of taking care of her while I am at work but most of my day at home is spent tending to her and making sure she heals as quickly as possible.
Thank you for your understanding as I'm sure that many of you thought my mods were progressing slow enough without life in the way of them... The truth is that life does really happen and you get to a point where modding, as much as you may love it, is so far on the back burner that some days it seems like you may never get to it again. But that's ok! I happen to love my fiance much more than I've ever loved my mods :) I'm just happy the accident wasn't worse.

Good to hear that your fiancé's injuries were relatively minor and good on you for doing your best to help her out. I wish her a full and speedy recovery Farseer.
Thank you! She's in for a follow-up xray today to make sure everything is healing properly but so far, she has made excellent progress :)

Thank you for the reply, but I feel terrible throwing my thoughts on the mod at you when I totally didn't read the incident with your fiancé, I wish her a great recovery and that she gets well soon. Lucky she has two people taking such great care of her :)
More than two :) She has a great family and therefore, support network. My folks have even been doing their part, bringing over dinner for their family one night, etc.
But don't feel bad! It was a really stressful and scary experience but the worst is behind us and life goes on :) Thank you for the well-wishes.
