Five Elite Mercenaries are send to an Island in middle of the 1980'. The Task: Find and Eliminate a local Drug Baron. Features: new Physic, real Sunmovement, Day/Night Change, Hunger/Food system, realistic (!) Weather system, Light/Dark viewing system for AI, 5 different Fractions on the Island. Complete Realistic simulation of nearly all things, including Sleep. New weapons, new Vehicles. Vehicles driving system is now exact (!) like GTA IV , FireSystem,... this mod is Heavily inspired by GTA, IGI, FarCry.

adding trees but try to keep the nice looking open landscape, was more difficulty than expected.
That landscape looks photorealistic! I wish I could claim that mountains, but I don't think that mountains could have that amount of details even in the Cryengine 2 or other Cryengines.

FarCry 4 ? GTA V ?
I know and that's why I write it there. Far Cry 4 and GTA V is an amazing looking game, but they are still far from the quality, which is in the real life.

This reminds me one video from 2011, which has unlimited details, but they haven't made any game unfortunately. I hope that this one will be making some interesting games since it looks amazing.
However, in the current market, where every game is on multiple platforms, so the developers could get as much money as possible, it's hard to imagine, that there will be a game like this. Maybe in a 10 years, but hardly in the next few years. Unless, there will be a company like Crytek, and they will actually care about their customers and the people who are working for them.

have seen gameplay videos about: it was all the time the same identical fractal ground/terrain which looked extrem repetive with very very poor leveldesign. total fail.
That's a pity. However, I was expecting that. Not everyone can make a great looking game in all aspects.
at the end of the day the grafic is only a small part, mindcraft and tetris shows it: gameplay > eyecandy
My thoughts exactly! However, a good graphic is a plus and a game with great graphic, story and even better gameplay is the best. Most important thing is probably the gameplay, since even if the story is amazing, when the gameplay is not so good, I'm not really wanting to play a game like that. Even if it's very rare, when the story is worse than the gameplay.

I don't much play racing games, so I don't say anything about them because I don't know, nowhere so much to talk about them. The only racing game, which I have seen in the last year was the Dirt Rally and it looks very interesting.
