Five Elite Mercenaries are send to an Island in middle of the 1980'. The Task: Find and Eliminate a local Drug Baron. Features: new Physic, real Sunmovement, Day/Night Change, Hunger/Food system, realistic (!) Weather system, Light/Dark viewing system for AI, 5 different Fractions on the Island. Complete Realistic simulation of nearly all things, including Sleep. New weapons, new Vehicles. Vehicles driving system is now exact (!) like GTA IV , FireSystem,... this mod is Heavily inspired by GTA, IGI, FarCry.
Testing some Shadows from Lightsources like HFCR have proposed here Moddb.com .
it's working good in part's of prisontrakt, in regular base corridors the effect destroys the hmmm, "clinical unsymphatical burau" ambience, which i need there (you know, the strange feeling from corridors in shools or big ambulances.
but here it adds a nice effect.
btw, if you think this looks scary: i visited some months ago a old sowjet military barrak with a real sub terrain prison section: if i got here 10 likes i will post a picture from.
in comparison to the original one, this here looks very very comfortable :D
Looks very nice and I hope that you will post it here for comparison. The shader also looks nice and it isn't so overused, so I would probably keep it, even if it doesn't have that atmosphere. Or I would post a picture, without that shader which would be probably the best, so we could compare it.

but honestly: on the screenshot in comparison the one with shadow shader looks clear better, but in game, it looks "false", overloaded and steel the desired effect of clean unsympathical corridor ambience.
the shader creates then more a horror like ambience which is not demanded in that particular room.
i try to go more in that direction:

The one with the shader, looks definitely better in the screenshot. However, without it, it's more similar to the Shock Corridor, which is in the second screenshot, if the Google search was correct.
i will use the shader in some corridors, like the prison rooms or cellar section, so i can have both :)
That's probably the best solution and I will be looking forward for more screenshots with that shader!
even if i started mapping again, i have still a (small) list of bugs to remove from code, so it may need a week until i can restart mapping at full speed, but atleast the whole project seems to see light on the end of the tunnel :D
