V 3.0: Lens flares & dirt, visor reflections / water droplets, god rays, depth of field, night & thermal vision scopes, dynamic wet surfaces with reflections, rainbows, volumetric light & fog, colored speculars and many other effects.
If ever released, this might become part of version 1.2.

Hey, Meltac! Can you create some new material with this effect? Look: we can create weapons with 3d scopes (can do the aiming in scope's without the use of textures) and if in scope would have such an effect would be nice.
By now I do pixel shaders only, no materials. So, all of my effects are basically 2d. However, I consider it possible to do something like what you describe. Maybe I'll just give it a try and will let you know if I could do it. Will take me some time though.
Try PPx, it already has 3D scopes, without your DoF. The M16 elcan has a 3D scope :)

No, i dont think thats possible in Xray, but after what you have done there must be a way how. Ill see if i can contact Sky4ce. i had some talks with him in the past, and other people like kino64. ill just ask them for help
