A mod for Doom II inspired by Brutal Doom, but this time "brutalizing" Wolfenstein 3D by adding new weapons, enemies, textures, animations, and of course, gore. Lots of it. That's not all though -- the maps from the original game are being redesigned too. Note: I'm not the mod's developer. Credit goes to Zio McCall for the concept, development, as well as the various contributors. I just felt that this mod needed a place here.

How do you disable screen tilt when strafing? I can't find the options menu brutal doom allows for the renderer.

Liking the new demo. Can't wait for the rest and Spear of Destiny. :)

Just a little bug I came across, when the pistol/rifle soldiers are killed with shotgun and they fly back, they sometimes change sprite into the white uniform officer, before turning into basic soldier again on the ground.

Also, there seem to be quite a lot of grammatical mistakes in text. Will they get fixed for the full release?

Thanks for answer. Keep it up!

Yeah,i noticed this bug too and about the grammatic, for the final release i'll see to fix it with the help of a friend of mine.
Also, the shotgun is still experimental and i'm planning to make it for deal some cool death animations to nazis, like some new ones from Brutal Doom.

one hell of a mod. I remmeber when it was first released people were insulting the creator of the mod, calling it a cheap brutal doom knock-off and other words best left forgotten. Man, what Zio McCall must have gone through! surely was insane.

It was that and more. The mod was released as a very early work in progress and it showed. Even Zio admits that and doesn't like to focus on the early builds any more. What the mod looks and plays like today is a far cry from those days, and is needless to say, much, much better.
