BW V6.0 changelog
-Completely reworked Episode 5 and 6,finally completing all original 60 levels.
-Reworked sliding:it now has it's own dedicated button and it can't be performed
while being in mid-air
-Reworked some levels,in particular Hitler's boss arena.
(Note:i was quiet unhappy with the previous version as it was too tight and a
chore to navigate.The new one is larger and has a flatter floor with less obstacles)
-Reintroduced Female Guards,with new sprites and AI
-Added a new enemy,the Ubersoldat:they are miniature versions of
Hans Grosse in black armours that can tank a lot of punishment but are quiet
vulnerable to headshots and explosives.
-Added the Gewehr 43
-Added the Leichenfaust 1943,working as it did in Wolfenstein 2009.
-Improved menu graphics and the read me.
-Reintroduced and reworked the Tank enemy from v.4.1
-Reworked most weapons:most of them got a buff in damage and fire rate,faster
switching animations and a lower ammo cap.
-Decreased the amount of grenades you can carry from 5 to 3.
-New alternative menu taking the "fullscreen" section,heavily inspired by
Brutal Doom's simple hud.An Addon with 4:3 support can be found in the
compressed folder.
-rebalanced enemies in terms of health,damage and immunities.
-Changed the death animation of the stone pillar and some
wooden barrels,now taking way less view space than before.
-Reworked "I'm a death incarnate" and added "Uber" difficulty.
-Reworked the warp only levels Map62(Now named "Das Ubersoldat dance") and
AntoLeve(Now named "The courtyard")
-Readded and reworked the pacman level.The previous E3M10 is now a warp only
level accessible through the "EXTRA" submenu
-Reworked the titlemap to match with the current set of missions you are currently playing
(either Original Missions or Nocturnal missions)
-New casing sprites from Captain J
-Readded the old Iron sight sprites for the 1911 from the BW V5.0 Demo
-Misc. bug fixes

Will the Spear of Destiny maps and bosses be used in the next update? I like this mod.

It's said to be That (Spear of Destiny) and two Map Packs. "The Ultimate Challenge" (That and "Return to Danger" are the Map Packs I had mentioned.) has the final level/ final boss level take place in a very familiar tech base in the future
I will only port the original spear of destiny.I never personally cared about the two mission packs.I will use textures and sprites from those though.

yes. it was definitely quite out of place and the enemies that had the fallout gun were stupidly overpowered and could kill you in 2 hits while having nightmare reaction speed.
I wouldn´t say out of place something that left such cool deaths on the enemies! :D
it was a nice easter egg. however, their use was very limited and therefore kind of useless.
awesome work, only 2 small questions: 1. is there maybe option or simple command in console to reduce blood amount by let's say 50% ? 2. is there a new version of WolfTex.pk3 (hi-res wolf3d textures ? some of the textures are affected by this pack and some don't and sometimes it looks strange.
There is no way to customize blood for now,you'll have to wait for when SGT_MARK_IV finally decides to come aboard.
I was never involved with the creation of WolfTex.PK3 and if you think new versions looks weird with that installed so do i.
So please,refrain from playing Brutal Wolfenstein with addons.

The re-design of the levels is very cool.
But...do the female guards have to dress in pink? Doesn´t seem a very appropriate colour. I think the previous black and skirt was better
They are pink to better fit with Wolfenstein 3D artstyle.

Well, on another sidenote. I must praise what you have made with Episode 6. From being the most tedious episode now it´s probably the coolest! I love specially the second half of the episode!

You must have been overdoing it, with that hardness of red-eyed bosses and buckets on your head. He's not going to kill them. And in the last one with a tank, I don't know if anyone is able to win there. !

I was waiting for this update after playing the 4 redone episodes, now we have the original 6 redone episodes and I love it. my favorite episode is always episode 2 when it was still 5.0 "the final version" i hope to see spear of destiny too
Episode 2 remains one of my favourite remakes aswell,prolly the one i went more creative with.
And yeah,SoD will come in version 7.0
Hey I dont know if this is just because Im on a chromebook but The game just crashes sometimes if I enter certain rooms or levels, like the Hitler Fight and the first level of episode 4. I checked in my linux terminal and it said something about lighting. Anybody have any tips? Also Im on flatpak
I have playetested this for windows pcs in mind so i have no idea how it behaves on linux devices.
Hey Zio, great work on this mod! Found the Uber difficulty just right for the amount of challenge I want!
However I have a very nagging question: Does the Black Key on E6M8 exist or not? Scoured the level from top to bottom to no avail.
It's a special key that can be found in E6M10 and carries through levels so no,it's not in E6M8.

Is there a console command to summon the trench shotgun? its my favorite weapon and I have trouble finding all the treasures to unlock it on some maps

How the heck do you finish the last level in 'Confrontation' without cheating? And before you just say "get good", I actually am and had no problems before, besides the bosses (in which those takes practice obviously). However, I carefully replayed it over again, got all treasures and black key, got all weapons, ammunition.. Just at that part where I flick the switch, the big door opens and I'm always vaporized over and over again.. There's no where to hide, so many enemies of all types, barely any medic-kits available, checked all hidden wall/areas.. I CAN get past it using God-mode, but is there something I'm missing here? No big deal, just wouldn't mind beating it legitimately just for the sake of saying so I did lol Your game is the best thing I played in a long time! Thanks again!
