Actually you can capture them and recruit them - so, yep they are recruitable. You can also free them from other partys.

Random thoughts, how fun would it be if companions that don't get along eventually end up killing eachother? And you're left with the options to compliment them, exile them or execute them for their actions. In some cases it'd be claimed as self-defense, in other cases outright murder to show who's strongest.

And very unhappy companions may attempt to kill you. If they defeat you, you lose half of your soldiers, and the betrayer forms a bandit army on the map, raiding and pillaging until stopped. If captured, they may serve you again with renewed respect for your strength or they can be executed.

Also, it'd be fairly awesome if companions with a political opinion may pull a Rickard Karstark by murdering a captured lord who you have imprisoned, causing huge political fallout. Your faction may exile you unless you agree to their demands to execute that companion or other factions may end up declaring war on whatever faction you serve.

That would be cool but it seems the devs want to have the factions locked due to lore reasons.

Cozur's God Complex make this mod not enjoyable, he refuses to listen to fan requests and treats any criticism unwell. All in all, he should have never released this mod if he was going to pretend others that download this mod do not exist in any form apart from to inflate his overblown ego.
