Also those goggles are basically just wrap around monitors. We have the tech to do that nowadays, its just how much you are willing to spend on something like that. Get one with a Nice comfy headphone attachment, and a mic that doesn't touch ur face and you are golden for immersion. I would have to have one that when someone opens my door it lets me know so that I don't totally ignore people IRL.

Would have to use the same system as a TrackIR *Or another object but that's for another time* for head turnings and such. I could go into how to make it completely chair-free/early holotech using simple motors and other stuff to simulate resistance and "touch", but that would require someone asking.
