This news we show off our new updated graphics for our new and improved game build. We also have some new game features that add to customization.

Whats up guys?
Sorry this news is late guys, I was attempting to put some video footage together for this news, but it didn't happen. I will add this footage when it is done between this news and the next. All of our testers are now tucked in good and tight with our new and old builds. Its been a busy month for the team so we haven't been able to get them all to work just yet, but we will soon!

As you guys know Cerebrate spent the summer re-building the game after we decided it needed to be done. It was very difficult for him because he was out of the country working. This however did not stop him from accomplishing his goal and I am happy to say that (minus some weapons and sound FX) we are back on track with our progress. I have a few screen shots to show off some of the enhancements that this new build brings.

New Eureka Model New style

A regular request from our fans has been the ability to change your LFOs color. This feature has now been added. Naturally, I chose the most god awful colors you could imagine. The system uses color slider bars for RGB. This allows any color to be made.

We would also like to show off the new cloud effects. These clouds look and act a lot more like real clouds, and are leaps and bounds better than the old ones. In Lift clouds play an important part for cover and loosing opponents.

New clouds

And finally Cerebrate has informed me that he is once again using you Livestream account. Some of our old fans may remember we used to hold a meeting there every Wednesday to model new things in real time. As it is now this is not happening however Cerebrate is broadcasting and some of us may be joining in soon. So if you want to catch some lift related material and perhaps chat with some of the devs, feel free to head over to our channel

Well thats what we have for you this month. Next month we should have a few more modelers on the team along with a new LFO and some prop shots. I will be adding some new footage this month so keep an eye out. Once again thanks for keeping up with us!

Looks good. To bad I hate that anime, with it's bad art style, and awful story.

Still, keep up the good work. If Halo is any example, people love mediocre things done really well.

thanks, we all gotta have our opinions. For example I loved the art style and believed that the story was incredible and interesting.

but yeah halo was bad.

Yeap, sad my opinion is getting down-voted so much. I wonder if Heaven is like a giant forum without trolls. Must be nice. :P

Um, technically you're the closest thing to a troll here with your coming here and trashing the thing this game is based on. :p

Also, you need some more ambition in your religious afterlife fantasies. :p

I like the art and story. In fact i think its one of the most awesome animes ive ever seen.

Anyway, the ability to change color is a simple but awesome idea and the clouds are looking fluffy. :D Btw. I cant wait to see the other footage. :)

speaking of anime, someone should make "the world" ( .hack// series)

You have spoken words that I have spoken for years now, but sadly if they do make "The World" They will probably screw it up and not capture what it should be.

Techercizer Aug 26 2010 replied:

Or you could just go play the .hack// games that are based in The World.

I loved those games...

Shoelip Aug 27 2010 replied:

I thought part of the deal with "The World" was those weird *** goggles that somehow basically make you comatose while you're playing the game so you can play it like you're in a dream.

Techercizer Aug 27 2010 replied:

It's more like the goggles just show you the world and make it seem like it's all around you.

Comas only bad, spoilerific circumstances.

Vfef Aug 28 2010 replied:

. . . but that would require me to have a PS2, and I'm too poor.

Also those goggles are basically just wrap around monitors. We have the tech to do that nowadays, its just how much you are willing to spend on something like that. Get one with a Nice comfy headphone attachment, and a mic that doesn't touch ur face and you are golden for immersion. I would have to have one that when someone opens my door it lets me know so that I don't totally ignore people IRL.

Would have to use the same system as a TrackIR *Or another object but that's for another time* for head turnings and such. I could go into how to make it completely chair-free/early holotech using simple motors and other stuff to simulate resistance and "touch", but that would require someone asking.

But here I am rambling as I do so much enjoy doing. Sorry :P

You can emulate PS2 games using pcsx2 if your computer is decent.

Vfef Aug 28 2010 replied:

Yeah, I tried doing that once on this computer. My poor little possessor can't handle it.
I mean I can but it runs at like 80% speed and kinda kills the experience.

Strange to hear that from kind of person who puts anime character on his avatar...

Sorry, mate, I had to do it. ;)

Shoelip Aug 18 2010 replied:

Not really. It's a character from some other anime. Presumably one he doesn't hate. Looks kind of depressing. Maybe E7 was too happy for his tastes. The ending sure was fairly erm... weird, but in a way that made you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, as opposed to that other show with sort of alive giant robots in it and a weird *** ending.

You know, at Kawaii Kon in Honolulu someone did a panel about Evangelion and oddly enough, mentioned Eureka 7 as the biggest ripoff of Eva he'd ever seen... I never could really get a straight answer from him as to what he was on, but it apparently had to do with the fact that it had a young protagonist piloting a giant robot that was sort of alive and that the other main characters included an emotionless girl... I even tried asking him about it on the forums but got bored waiting for a reply. [/tangent]

Where be the pinksplosions?!

Plinkotink Aug 18 2010 replied:

Pinksplosion are still there. As far as Eva goes I couldnt stand that anime. Its so full of japanese folklore and religion that anyone claiming to understand it is most likely full of crap.

Theres no connection between the two, its silly to think otherwise.

Torchling Aug 19 2010 replied:

i've seen evangelion many many times. its the anime that got me INTO anime. it's an anime that you actually makes you think. its not just all handed to you in a nice shiny plate, set out all neatly. its kinda like someone got that, and then threw it at your face halfway through you were eating it ^_^

1 of the best anime's ever made! and the new movies are freaking awesome. specially Evangelion 2.0(2.22 or whatever, lol). epic movie is epic, and the animation is top notch!!

and E7 was/is 1 of my other fav anime's of all time(tho have only seen it through like, 3 times maybe =P) and i don't really see any REAL similarities between the 2. i mean, sure, young protagonist that pilots a mech, that narrows it down to what? 50% of all anime =P

soz for rant. lol. was bored >_<
