What in the...
Taking from other things that were mass produced isn't smart. In fact, it's stupid as hell.
Let me weep, and *********. At the same time. This looks amazing.
If you're wondering about how realistic it is, you're on the right track. As far as I can see you've been able to put in some kind of twitching but it seems way to smooth. Also, so kick-up should be added, like what's seen in the Day of Defeat games.
You don't exactly know what a work in progress is do you?
Do these still have those missing animations that cause the Combine to spread they're arms out like graceful doves?
I hope you guys don't mind but as soon as I saw this I put it up on www.giantbomb.com 's wiki section so you guys could get some more publicity not just ranging within the modding community. Hope you guys get this product out soon cause I'm really looking forward to it.
Do I get to dress up in a Makarov costume and romp down an airport killing thousands of helpless civilians then shoot my own teammate in the face? If so them I'm downloadin.
Alright let's see if I can get this straight.
-You're currently using nothing that any of you have made as a "base" to showcase your mod and you don't plan on actually releasing the mod on the SMOD "base".
Fine. Slightly Understandable.
-You want to make this mod on the EP2 or OB engine? Dear Christ.
This is a problem. Let's say you really did make any of the content in the mod. Which you didn't. The only thing that you've done so far is go to FPSbanana and take a bunch of skins such as the M4 for the SMG and the MK.23 for the Pistol. Do you really think that putting 4 or 5 skins into EP2 really makes a mod?
Please, enlighten us what you have ACTUALLY done. Please.
Reported. This is nothing but a few screenshots of stolen content.
It doesn't work that way. There's only two situations where I remember this wouldn't be illegal:
1. The Mod uses content already found in the CZ or 1.6 .gcf (Which it doesn't.)
2. The mod requires the CSS .gcf
You do understand that this is illegal right? You have to take it down. Now.
I don't think anyone knows how to go onto smod-tactical.com/forums and notice that next to the Close Contact name in the forum it says "On Hiatus". That doesn't mean dead. It means it's on hold for now because the people working on the mod possibly have lives? Or maybe it's the fact that 1/4 life has another mod that he has to work on? Stop saying it's dead. It's on Hiatus.
Veteran_gamer says that he's just waiting for ModDb to approve the file. DAMN THEM! I WANT THIS NOAW.
I'm not getting out of this chair till a see a download link. :D
Its alive. Just don't expect a release this year.
"To Spark Some Hinting.."? Does that mean its some kind of arc grenade?
Nice, sorta like a Dead Rising for the Source2 engine. Is there a release date yet? I'm really looking forward to this.
Would it be possible to retexture the water to make it look uhh better? Source's water wasn't that great.
Wait for Close Contact. It's pretty much SMOD Tactical but with Co Op Online.
You're going to make all textures and models cartoony I bet. Well let's hope that you have a shitload of time on your hands :D
You didn't ask Mosquito for permission to use his skin for the zombie did you? Cause I sure as hell didn't recieve one on FPSB.
The weapon damage actually makes sense now. In real life a few shots from a Rifle or pistol can take down a person. Not 10 like in Vanilla.
I just got back form playing beta 2 and wow. That's nice. My disappointments are the bugs that are already know and some personal opinions. The cells look way to bland. Maybe add some neon color lights or something.
Saw the movie LOVED IT. Try to re-create the Tazer and the Kama (sickle thing).
He didn't flame. He was merely telling you what you HAVE to do. If you don't there is a slight chance that you can get sued.
PEOPLE GO TO SMOD-TACTICAL.COM/FORUMS IF YOU NEED HELP.
