I am currently Lead Developer of the slow-developing remake of System Shock 2: "Remember Citadel". Not much else other than I map and know some very light Unity and UDK. I'm also looking to hone my Source Mapping skills and am therefore looking for work. Doing my own projects doesn't give me much motivation, but having something with a deadline is like fuel to me.

It feels a bit more easier and smooth to use over other STALKER games (recoil doesn't feel gigantic).

I'm going to keep going along and try to make it distinctive from the original.

Hopefully that will prevent some kind of mishap.

I've went through 2 mods on my own, both flopped.

By the third my Mapping had improved greatly.
The third is asleep right now, but i've gotten even better since it fell asleep.

It's also strange they are only asking for $50,000.
While that seems like a lot, even less ambitious games have gone for about 2-4 fold over that cost estimate.

Unless of course they are planning on using X-Ray for it.

The only problems I had though were:
-Food eating sounded so over exaggerated
-Those white enemies (were the white combine?) look solid white, and that's not good looking at all
-Gman's mouth didn't move at all (I assume that's why you need faceposer help)

Not as much boring as it is annoying.
It certainly has a place in my heart, but playing through it last week and beating it again, it ****** me off beyond belief how lazy it felt compared to the old ones.
Especially with all the closet enemies.

Run the game as Administrator or disable UAC (both work, the former is easier).

As for LA Options (I assume you mean that, instead of Options), it's basically a menu for the Devs that was left in.

If you meant 'Options', then yeah, that is fixed by Administrator too.

Great game though, I just got to the first underground part (in Garbage).

The game feels more like an extended cut of SoC though with all the huge similarities.
