Wow if you could read for 5 seconds you would see it's a re-release.

This a port of Blue Shift into Black Mesa's version modbase; setting all the assets up for him. It's relatively what the original Blue Shift is to Half-Life.
Guard Duty is it's own game however, just like Black Mesa. It will be made from the ground up on the accord of it's own quality expectations.
Well for what it is, it really isn't too shabby, so I don't think so.
Maybe he exaggerated.
I think a in helmet style hud would be nice.
Something LIKE this:
Media.moddb.com
Dominic, stop trying to defend it.
It's in the god damned description:
"This mod is about offending some guy who I call "The ******". The reason to why I call him "The ******" and the reason why I wanted to offend him is pretty personal. However, as I add on to this mod. You'll see why I wanted to offend him."
It seems this guy had his girlfriend stolen, or his friend dated his ex, or some ****.
Whatever the case, i'll still probably play it, because I love troll mods.
EDIT: Hit the nail on the head, checked the community page description. Kid got grounded, girlfriend cheated on friend. I assume they both worked on the original mod.
Is the game safe for release when it's time?
What I mean is, can EA or Star Insurance come and tell you to stop?
I understand System Shock isn't sold ANYWHERE but Amazon and Ebay anymore, but I think they could which makes me scared.
Because things like this happen too often.
An excellent project and a developer decides it wont make them money so it's cut very close to release.
I'm fairly sure he said the elevator will connect the levels in a way that the Source Engine and GoldSrc engines do it.
Basically the elevator will be a loading screen.
It seems that in this picture he copy and pasted all the maps on top of eachother to show how close to the Citadel Station picture the game really is.
That or he somehow didn't go over the brush limit and it IS one level, which in that case, more power to him.
The GitHub hasn't been updated since September.
I think it's on hiatus.
It's not even the entirity of the mod like they said either.
You should have Half-Life 2 anyway.
You wouldn't get quite the experience if you haven't played it, as this is based on the old HL2 and will have mostly the same gameplay; just different voices, enemies, and story.
Are plans still for 23rd?
It's OK if it takes longer.
"Well you just ruined it. I was going to have the mod to myself but you revealed everything."
That makes you look like a selfish jackass actually.
IF you were doing it all just so you could get a few measly Youtube subs, then that's an even bigger example of asshattary.
Stop trying to look like a victim.
I was wondering if you guys were ever planning on a NH2 update, especially with all the things wrong that can be righted (that weren't your fault like SOurce 2007's lack of multi-core and good optimization).
I'm fairly sure the reason he doesn't post these publicly is because the stability is more than likely questionable.
I might have posted this before, but didn't Phillip die at the end of Black Plague?
Personally I would make the sequel on this engine.
It would make the game so much more available to people; especially since SOMA is going to have quite a bit better graphics engine.
Of course, if you wanted to sell your hard work for profit, you could use Cryengine 3; but if planning to keep it free, it doesn't seem like a great choice.
If you want to completely destroy a majority of the fanbase's performance in favor of Linux users (not a whole lot, certainly not the majority) then sure.
Kind of cool how you focus on the levels and game first before textures and all that.
Plus, I have always thought Dev textures looked neat.
Does this have any relation to: Moddb.com ?
Any news?
I'm so anxious to play/ learn about it.
GZDoom and ZDoom usually auto set the controls I thought.
Space is good for action button (pressing buttons)
Shift is good for running
Q is for Kick
Mouse wheel up and down for weapon change.
Secondary Fire Right Click
I think he's 'partially' blind, not fully impaired.
If he is fully blind and somehow did all of this, mad ******* props.
Oh gee that totally doesn't look like a Doom 3 model.
Mxthe, you are one hell of a mapper.
Your work in Underhell is outstanding, not to mention your great job in Insurgency.
*Insert Deity here* bless you!
I agree.
You'd get so many more players if they knew this was basically a second Gloom.
Actually, I did notice flickering in the background with Dx10, but didn't notice until recently and now it bugs me.
Is there any workaround for this/ will it be fixed?
I will probably go Full DX9, but I like to utilize the best quality I can.
I'm playing with the DirectX 10 render and the game is absolutely amazing looking.
Not to mention the frame-rate increase over the last version.
By the way, did you guys change the gun mechanics at all?
It feels a bit more easier and smooth to use over other STALKER games (recoil doesn't feel gigantic).
So have all the render screen shots just been R1?
If so, that latest one looks amazing and I wont even care using Static.
I'm DLing now, looks pretty great.

I am currently Lead Developer of the slow-developing remake of System Shock 2: "Remember Citadel". Not much else other than I map and know some very light Unity and UDK. I'm also looking to hone my Source Mapping skills and am therefore looking for work. Doing my own projects doesn't give me much motivation, but having something with a deadline is like fuel to me.
