Good day everyone, I hope you enjoyed our Gargantua and Eli's Lab update a few weeks ago!

The previous help wanted post we put up went well; we added several new members to our team as a result. However, we still need more skills to make development run smoothly.

Coders- We need more coders! (Although I work with people more experienced in coding than myself, I still do not know the extent to which coding covers when it comes to models, animations, etc., so please bear with me in this first bit. -Ambient) We are going to be including many new characters and scenes into the mod, and we need good coding to provide their backbone.  This includes npc rigging, weapon coding, particle coding, and others. We prefer experienced individuals when it comes to the coding side of the mod, as we don't want to have to spend more of their time than we have to, although anyone who does send us an offer should bear in mind that we will be creating many new npc's and weapons, and most of them will need a coding overhaul or completely new code to boot.

So far, the coding side of the mod is the biggest issue, and it is very important for us that these requirements are met. If any shortages arise in the future, we will most certainly post a news article here for you all to examine. Besides the fact that any prospective coder obviously needs to know how to code proficiently, we also love it when we acquire individuals who communicate their thoughts and opinions well towards the rest of the team. Communication is key when making a large mod like this, and so far we have been blessed with a great group and we hope to receive even more thinkers as time goes on.
A big shout out to the community, you guys are awesome! A few weeks ago, shortly after our last media post we made it to the top 20 active mods on Mod DB and stayed there for a few days. We can't thank you guys enough for your support and we hope to keep amazing you with more maps, models, sounds, and textures!

Hey I have a funny idea. Once the coastline chapter starts, there should be a sign that reads: "CAUTION Water Hazard," with the dry seafloor visible in the distance.

I would REALLY like to know if you're going to rework some of the textures or something.
A lot of them are really dirty and blurry, and look pretty outdated compared to the final 2004 version.
Oh,and I wish you lots of luck with this project!
I'm (and I'm sure that a lot of people too) tired of searching torrents (I assure you that it takes a looong while to find a good one) to play it,and this will be a life saver!

Don't worry, we're not using leak content in the mod. Leak textures may be used as placeholders in maps, but they won't be in the final mod.

Uh, wasn't really a yes/no question. I meant that originally instead of the coastline, Gordon would travel through a bunch of ruins, with broken military equipment. So I was wondering what you were doing with that.

We're planning on including both the dried-up seafloor and the ruins of the old city.
