Total Conversion (mod) for the game Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Penumbra: Necrologue is a continuation of the Penumbra series made by Frictional Games. The game starts right where the last game in the series ended (Penumbra: Requiem). In our game you will see new objects, quests, textures, monsters and music. With the help of the latest HPL engine, this mod will be even more beautiful then the previous games. As huge fans of the original games, we kept the atmosphere exactly like the previous parts. The game is very story-driven and contains many objects that can be interacted with, along with clever puzzle designs.

I'm stuck (again) with this mod. I'm at the part where you jump down from the ventilation system, and you see the mysterious figure in the fog through the window. I can't crawl back into the ventilation no matter what I tried, and the only way to go seems to be to release the monster in the room across the hall. Problem. Monster comes out, he's way too fast for me to avoid, He is able to strike me three times within the span of a two seconds, and there are literally zero places for me to hide from it. Spoil it for me, please, I don't care. What the hell am I supposed to do here? I can't get into the room it came out of, or back into the one I came out of because the monster is way too fast.

you only have to run down the hallway, after some barricade-thing there is a door and a switch to open it at the side

I have game breaking bug... In the old shafts when I clicked on glowing place and there was explanation that I need to place here artifact, then I used magnet to grab key, then dog appeared and I found out that there is no place for that artifact anymore. Glowing cloud on that place just disappeared. I don't have older saves to start again in this level because of stupid autosaving system which overwrites older saves by newer. Is there some solution or some fix for save file? I looked at save files, they are in simple XML format, what should I change in them for fixing this bug?

Ok, I figured out by myself what to do with save file... I made quick fix which gave me ability to place artifact on its place, even though I didn't restored glowing cloud there, but having active point was enough to do this. To made this I found in sav file section with name mlstDisabledEntities and removed line with val="2277", with this simple fix I can place artifact where eye icon appers when I look at active point.

And... That was pointless! Looks like this is not a bug but stupid gamedesign decision. I see that if we use there magnet, then artifact becomes useless, but if we use artifact, then magnet becomes useless, either way we find key for auxiliary shaft. It is very confusing, when something like this appears in any game.

Now, I really wanted to like this mod, but that never became a thing. There were annoying parts and wonderful parts and tbh it was mostly annoying. Firstly, the fact that you used literally all Penumbra enemies really cheered me up. You also managed to implement the Hunter properly as well, which for most of the time has been a completely unknown enemy until today. Now I havent seen it yet in game, but I've seen a screenshot one of my friends sent to me. So fantastic job on that. Now, here came…
