That's rather odd though, so long as the Hard Drive containing the files themselves isn't the part that failed all you would need to do is once you have a new rig is place it into it and plug it in...

Correct you see it in the scene where the enterprise is returning to earth after the Xindi attack being pursued by the klingons. This is one of the solar system defense ships seen during that scene.

When I played that mission in HW2 Remastered it wasn't that bad, ofcourse I hijacked the Hyperspace gates & stole the enemy destroyer while I blew up the pesky carriers building the frigates!!!

That destroyer made subsequent missions easier till I could build my own, lasted nearly half the campaign!!

That would make sense since Rebels takes place right after the foundation of the Empire. At that point in history most of the Imperial's vehicles and starships were former Grand Army of the Republic (AKA: The Clone army) issue....

If you preorder before by the 24th of February you get it 15% off on steam. Also the Collection includes both HW1 & HW2 remastered + the originals + access to the multiplayer steam beta (Note it's only beta because they basically had to redo the backbone of multiplayer since Gamespy is now dead, so They're not certain how the originals were set up so We're basically going to pound it and reveal what works and what don't!!)

If you weren't at PAX South you should watch the entire Homeworld:Remastered Collection panel. I think you'll find that most of what you guys use won't have changed, especially since they've had people from the modding community helping with it's development, Including some of the Complex mod team!!

Well if you did include spartans, at this point in time besides the training they went through IIRC they hadn't yet received the augmentations or the Mjolnir armor. So technically besides having extensive skills at killing people the spartans wouldn't be all that much tougher to kill than normal people, assuming you put your rounds on the target.....

Umm, why are you obviously using star wars sound effects??? I've played enough Rogue Squadron, Empire at War, and other star wars games featuring things like tie fighters and other classics that I recognized them in a heart beat....

If you must revamp fighter sounds then please consider sources like Shattered universe for the sounds, not obvious ripoffs.....
