I am a C&C fan since the 1990s and currently a C&C modder of the Reloaded mod series, except C&C Reloaded. I do play various games of different genres.
When is the next release of this awesome mod?
After the 3.33 update, I say it's the best release since its 3.0 release in 2013. It took five years of patience to fix/edit/add a bunch of stuff.
And yay for the return of save/load functions!
The weakened AI change could solve some issues of some missions that are too hard to complete even without saves.
That's where I found some things so confusing. Only a few CNC4 technologies should exist in the CNC3 era such as the Sandstorm and the Kodiak.
Yes, save/load is disabled for now.
Putting Ares 1.0 won't work as the author states that manually updating Ares will have no effect on this mod. There are still bugs and performance issues that needed to be fixed first.
Yes, it's included in the update but it doesn't work on gamemd.exe and tiberiumcrisis.exe. Those two needed to be patched and integrated with syringe, but I don't know how to do it. Otherwise the save/load functions should have showed up ingame.
I also noticed the Load Game function in the main menu, why was it there if the author refused to update Ares to 1.0?
To the author of the mod and patrons looking at this mod, Ares 1.0 announcement and download: https://launchpad.net/ares/+announcement/14912
And yes, it has the save/load functions. There are some people bitching for it and I am not the only one asking for it. Mental Omega will have that sooner than you guys will.
Unfortunately, Ares 1.0 will not work unless gamemd.exe and tiberiumcrisis.exe are edited using the latest syringe.exe.

I know there are some people having trouble loading the game unless you place all of the RA2/YR files in that folder except movies.
After playing some parts of the game, I realize there are a number of issues and I probably won't be playing again unless the following are fixed:
1) Ares 1.0 needs to be updated into this mod since Ares 1.0 has the save/load features returned and is also a stable version with little or no issues whatsoever. That's A VERY CRITICAL AND CRUCIAL UPDATE for all RA2/YR mods using it.
2) The performance in-game is lackluster and therefore needs some tweaking especially getting in higher FPS. Lowering the settings to the lowest still slows down the game however.
3) The core RA2 and Yuri's revenge files need to be included if this mod is to run as standalone, because most people do not know which ones.
4) Some missions have bugs, and they need to be fixed.
This mod can run as an indie only if it has the all of the necessary and critical RA2/YR files. bink32.dll is one of those files.
This mod is so huge that it even runs as a standalone mod without requiring the original Red Alert 2/Yuri's Revenge.
That is a great find. I'll take note of that.
I am probably looking at the C&C mod of the year already for 2018 once it's released.
Where C&C meets Half-Life. I hope this is the real Half-Life RTS people are looking forward to. I also hope there'll be tons of zombies and soldiers fighting.
This is the last time I am posting for my mod. I am retiring from C&C modding indefinitely due to health issues, lack of time and loss of interest. It's been great doing C&C modding I have been doing for the past decade and I'am moving on to a different life. From now on, it's up to you guys to carry my dream for this project to move on. Give credits to me (no permission needed from me but other content from other mods may require permission) if an individual or a team resumes this huge mod project. I'll still be following some other famous C&C mods though.
You mean use Bibber's C&C Ultimate Edition launcher? The problem is that Bibber has retired his site along with all of his gaming materials. You will find it here: Cncnz.com
I am still wondering if Carnius is going to change the entire UI for Tiberium Essence including the main menu, and changing the videos for main menu and skirmish.
I hope a new release by Feb. 1 is going to be an excellent one for Generals fans everywhere. But if released earlier I think this mod deserved a late Moddb award for one of the best mods of 2017.
There is a buildable Kodiak for GDI, Steel Talons and GAF factions.
Maybe in the next update I may include it.
What help do you need? There's always a readme file in the mod for instructions.
Kane is no longer buildable since he's OP, unless you place him in a custom map in Worldbuilder and run it in C&C3; with this mod.
How many winners will there be? 21, one for each game?
Out of 14 factions, 3 will have skirmish AI and The Forgotten will become the fourth faction to have skirmish AI. They are all playable except the Forgotten trio which cannot be done until The Forgotten faction is done.
A full version isn't possible next year, there's too many content left to be added in, and only at least half is done now.
I noted for the issues you are reporting.
There's no limit I could tell. However there's a limit of how many factions can be played with skirmish AI. So far only four or five can, but no mod has done five factions with skirmish AI in CNC3.
Some people weren't happy with this mod especially after the first mod's release. With another unbelievable miracle after earning it into the top 100 mods of the year, this mod finally earns an award for Continuing Legacy Award by the editors of Moddb. Congrats team!
This mod release is the perfect Christmas gift for C&C fans everywhere.
