I am a C&C fan since the 1990s and currently a C&C modder of the Reloaded mod series, except C&C Reloaded. I do play various games of different genres.
Very disappointed and frustrated with the ongoing issues of this game. I would to love to play this game if the author of the game use Ares 1.0 with the save/load functions and have the in-game performance played with little or no lag in which it doesn't on playing bigger maps and missions. Also the usage of C&C4; material and gameplay was NOT what people asked for because they were expecting C&C3;/KW material instead. But at least anyone can collect resources no matter which faction you are on. Also there's no skirmish AI for the vanilla factions of RA2/YR. This may be the biggest C&C mod of the series, but the lack of communication and compromised changes to be fixed/edited into the game would be deemed unacceptable, even through another language.
A great mod that Valve could have developed, although there were some inconsistencies. One of the best HL2 mods of all time.
After version 0.65, this mod has made a very intense overhaul of the whole mod into an indie. Great vision of design and mapping. Great new music and videos. While the game isn't finished, it's still polished and worth playing.
This would have been a great mod if non-steam versions such as the original CD and GOG versions are supported. Expanding and combining Deus Ex New Vision and some other mods into one this hybrid enhanced mod may have come just too late. Also missing graphic improvements should have used something similar to SweetFX to support DirectX 9/10/11.
A good mod involving a fifth faction (as the Soviets) and some new maps but does not contain a SP campaign specifically for that faction.
This is one amazing game as a stand-alone HL2 mod. It did deserve some justice out from HL Source where Valve lacked to do the remake. The team did a good job on making the mod for over 8 years running and I am glad some gameplay content that were not in HL2 did come back in this one. You know what I think? This mod definitely deserves a 2012 game of the year, mod of the year and freeware of the year honors.
