Thanks SinKing, i use hand painted colors on model combined with photo source. First i paint whole model with using 3 or 4 different (strong) colors and matching up reference as much as possible and then overlaying or multiplying photosource texture on top of it to get small details.
Gio_metal yes there will be quite some features from Empire earth, probably mostly from warfare side, however economic side is quite different.
It is confirmed now...development of this game has ended.
I would just like to thank to all followers and especially to those who have been giving great comments since the start of development, it has been a great boost to development.
It would be really cool if you guys could implement bow as weapon.
Sorry cant confirm or decline, but it does looks pretty bad since development is going extremely slow.
I agree that water looks way to good to not be used. Audrey please dont listen to people who say that water is not good, i think that it is 10 times better than any flat plane water. Maybe if you could make it with scrolling displacement shader or vertex shader that would be even more awesome.
Aubrei you have such a great eye for colors. Everything in level seem to blend together so well, it is very obvious that you arent just technical educated modeler but also you have very good artsy eye.
What an amazing rock models on that shore. Also do you guys use voxel terrain system? Cliffs near shore seem to be very steep and texture isnt stretched at all.

Yes that would be good description, there will be many elements from The Settlers and also Stronghold series. The important part is that game will have strong economy system, but also advanced fighting (milatary) system which has been missed in most city building RTS games.
Perfect modeling and ambient. I just wish that water color tint would be a little less green and more blue, it would look much better.

I have sad news however...project development has been slowed down a lot since we are developing one more project. Right now i cant give more information about future progress the only thing i can say is that development will countiniue.

Sandbox mode will be more "random" gameplay mode, i cant reveal too much yet becouse we are still pinching out idea. We are working exclusively on basic singleplayer levels.

This is the most realistic sword fighting and smashing i have ever seen in 3d game.

Yeh dont worry, this one is gray-blueish too, it is just light in scene that made it more brown. It should look better color in game.
