Must agree this model rocks, its in the spirit of the designs and would've fit in well.
Keep both in different roles star-ship design and modifications would exist, just look at the custom smaller ships like the falcon, I'd suggest the newer rebels look was an older now obsolete hull being changed to haul cargo, were the previous was a ship of the line.
Considering the time differences but only minor weapon shield and engine power changes what makes the most sense is these systems have been made smaller and been upgraded, hence the engine change.
To access your forum, Had to cycle through the questions with a lot of refreshes to get past the who made the game, for which it doesn't accept either answer.

Hello, having a small problem somebody here might be able to help with.
Using a mod that adds units via a new buildpad and its constructed "turrets" on only one map, adding the ships to a starbase has enabled one able to be built, but not the other two despite removing all the requirements and the xml files looking similar to the one that is able to be built the other two remain unbuildable.
However both icons show up on the starbase just nothing happens when you click them, and they dont black out when the queue is full.

Hello there, loving the mod, make some of my own changes.
What i have been left wondering if there is a way to make the ships that fire pulses turn from targets and track targets at point blank range.
and if there was any way to scale the damage done at point blank by pulse's i'm not sure if pulses of phaser would lose power over distance like plasma torpedo's and why romulans don't use them anymore (or rarely)
I managed to tweak the defiants physics and they do really nice turns i'd love to see them avoiding collisions close up but they seem to veer off enemy ships too quickly, and techincally i don't ships in space wouldn't turn much but lets face it, its more interesting the way star trek does it ^_^
I am having some trouble modding the game i like more capatail ship battles, but the number of fighters doesn't seem to want to drop, right now i have them set at 1 and 2 and instead they spawn 2 and 4.
I don't want to remove fighters from all capital ships but it looks like i may have to :(
The only problem i had was with the shipyards, they weren't very good at releasing some of the larger ships, i found galaxy class sometimes (though rarely) got stuck, but more often romulan warbirds got stuck trying to come out and ended up creating a backlog of cloaked warbirds inside the shipyard only to be released upon the destruction of the shipyard.
Perhaps a slightly larger romulan second shipyard, or a build point closer to the exit or lower in the frame would be helpful.
Besides that and maybe the request of more maps i have no issues with the mod its very good. ^_^
As one of many c&c fans who loved the previous game and wanted to see more of it, but had to make do with Unreal game modes with vehicles over the years me and many others i know are very happy to see this game.
So thank you everyone who has been a part of making this game and bringing it to the rest of us fans we appreciate all you have done.

Yeah at times, i also find a problem with the light sources its great for large battles reducing draw distance etc, Any chance on a well lit, Extra large version map?
I don't know the size restrictions i was trying to make a "galaxy" large one in Armada 2 and ran into problems with making it large enough. ^_^
My gripe would be all, Excelsior class starships seen were the later design/refit that plagued the Enterprise b, and Lakota.
Considering the usage of non refit hulls through out the dominion war and the lack of refit hulls, i do only know of two of them made (as listed)i believe it would be more canon to have the refit as a special ship or higher in the construction tree at least.
I understand if the other model was not done for the preview but it should be seen along side the other era canon ships next video ^_^

I would wet myself if somebody with the model took some ultra large screenshots with backdrops of Babylon 5/Other captial ships and even space settings, It has been a long time since a very good Whitestar model has been around to make wallpapers with! :)
Oh do please have it translated to english i will play it and struggle knowing most of the ships/etc but i am very glad to see more babylon 5 mods/games.
I have been hoping for a long time something else might pop up and re-engage peoples interest in one of the best stories in science fiction.

Right, whatever high horse quest your on to protect your favorite games company is as misguided as you are.
None of these big companies need your defense they spend more money trying to stop piracy every day than families spend on food.
And little good it does, 2 days later its completely useless, The stupid fools would lose less money not protecting the software but just telling everyone there was protection.
And just how do you feel about hiring games then? I can hire a pc title for $5 finish it in 2 days and return it, Much more effective use of money compared to buying, If piracy dropped off the world hiring would be "KILLING THE GAME MARKET" next.
There is always something for misguided drama queen-defenders of the companies who don't need protection, To do battle with.. Next week tune in for Television killed the Radio.
