I used the mod manager so I don't THINK I could've screwed it, but the possibility of me being stupid is never 0. It's also possible the crash wasn't the megaturret, but just so happened to happen the moment I tried to fire it. It is the only crash I've gotten with the mod to date.

I don't know if it's been addressed anywhere or not, but there seems to be an immediate CTD when you try to fire the covenant Megaturret (base version, I haven't tried the map-based one or the grunt deacon one yet.)

Sorry if this isn't the place to report bugs, but clicking on version 3.24 in the mod manager causes the manager to crash instantly. Edited because I'm a little stupid, but the first half still applies.

I'm conflicted on this and the temptress armor changes, because I think they are much more realistic and good looking, but the lack of MnB body shaping makes them look kind of manish with helm and armor on? I feel like that's rude of me to say but it's just the opinion of a stranger on the net so eh.

I'd like to see a bit better balancing from this mod. It's more than a bit annoying when 8 rebel Venators, a Mon Cal Cruiser, and 3 CD-10 destroyers attack my 3 imperial Venators and level 3 station, only for them to suddenly have 5 corvettes and a couple cruisers I don't think they can even build also join them. It's hard enough fighting their regular fleets without them having ships mystically appear to help them, y'know?

I was being facetious, I DO have 400 hours in MnB Warband. Was kind of rude in hindsight, and I do apologize, but I was fully aware that what I said was not really a possibility. My point is that Warband is also lacking in the squad kind of department (since Character development in Warband is 2-3 paragraphs then you never speak with them again), the politics department (since an overarching senate isn't possible the republic has a single ruler for convenience) and the large battle front because, as you said, the game is more suited to Warbands, as the title suggests. My point for multiple factions is that the AI in Warband also isn't configured for constant war, so a couple more factions would spice it up some, ensure more conflicts were happening.

What exactly makes you think I didn't watch it? I know what it was, but I know what Mount and Blade is too. The show (which was better than the prequel movies) was constant action and intrigue for the most part, which worked fine for a show. Mount and Blade can't do that. The political side is flimsy at best, and the war side isn't always constant. More factions can mean more is going on at once, since war works different in the MnB universe than the star wars one. But hey, once you tell me how to get 10,000 clones on the ground with AT-TE support and aerial cover, and constant battle raging over planets every 10 seconds with armies clashing and epic jedi duels with jumpin around and advanced saber techniques, I will yield :D don't forget the fleet battles!

I hope that Caon's dude offer is taken up and more factions get added because a 1v1v1 is cool I guess but so much more can be done than just Clones vs Droids vs Pirates.

Hm, it's a damn shame. I was so hype for a single player Star Wars mod. Ever since Conquest died before making it to Warband I've kept hopes up, but no one that can actually mod wants to do it :(

I mean, there is nothing wrong with using some free to use to cut out some dev time. But they need to make their own actual assets to make like 80% mod and so far no offense I haven't seen any of any quality :/

I understand the people doubting the legitimacy of this mod, but I have to disagree about the model argument. Even if the models aren't made by the team, there is 0 rule against making a mod with free to use assets. For the record, the ORIGINAL BLASTERS IN STAR WARS WERE JUST REPURPOSED WW2 GUNS. THEY USED PREMADE ASSETS AND MODIFIED THEM. Should we ban the original trilogy for it? Wait until actual theft is committed or until the mod dies before throwing stones and such.

I'd like to see these guys as mercs or rare units, if you could ask the Clash of Kings team how they put rare mercs in some towns like the swan knights. I'd rep a whole clone army if I could man. Like, if I can go to Kamino and make my own clones or something I guess would be a way to do it? Just a thought.

Note that if you have the steam version, after putting the mod into the mod folder you will instead right click on the game in your library, change launch options, and input this: "sweaw MODPATH=Mods\" without the quotation marks, and after the \ you put in the mod folder name.

Will it be possible to use any of the units from the nonplayable factions, such as the ability to build them only on special planets (ie the Hutt faction units on Nal Hutta) or are they just serving the purpose of vanilla pirates?

I didn't have an actual problem. I just told a vehicle to tow itself and, as it SHOULD, it crashed the game. Created a loop of sorts.
