I'm not a member of the TGW development team but I can answer a couple of your requests for them because I know exactly how they'll answer.
1. They are always working on new guns but doing legit LMGs is very hard due to the nature of the engine they're using.
2. Great War era ships are impossible. Not only is it hard enough to change the skins of the ships but there is no mechanic for rotating turrets in the base game.
3. Again, it's really hard to do it. If the base game doesn't have something they can work with, then they can;t use it.
4. Working on it always.
Yeah you guys and Third Age Total War are easily two of the best mods I've ever played.
Yeah, and they we don't call them legionnaires until after the Marian Reforms. We tend to refer to them by their unit names before then. Hastati, Principes, and Triarii. And I'm just saying that if the Segmentata is in use in this mod, then all the legionaries should be using it. Also I wouldn't call around 200 years a short period of a 487 year Imperial period.
So are there 40 unit armies in this mod?
Thing about egypt is it would be essentially greek. They would fight in the Alexandrian style because their leaders were descended from one of Alexander's generals.
THAT is pretty.
How does that make it balanced? It's not criticism, it's genuine curiosity.
Why does Britain start with no munitions?
Makes sense.
malanthor knows what I mean. I wanted to know if it was a Warhammer Fantasy mod or if it was a mod based on Warhammer Fantasy but with differences in factions. So you're saying it's both? Or that it is based on both the lore from the books and Mark of Chaos? Because I don't see Bretonnia in the factions area.
I like Intelligence and to up my party power.
So is this mod based on Warhammer Fantasy or is it Warhammer Fantasy itself?
He wasn't wearing a helmet. He wasn't even blocking upwards. My sword just seemed to bounce off with a metallic clink and do no damage.
This mod is Nintendo Hard. I got killed by the first guy. He wasn't even blocking and my sword bounced off his head. And I hit him at least three times for damage but it said I delivered no damage.
Are you guys adding the DH-17 Blaster Rifle from Battlefront? I really liked the model for it. I've always wondered though why it has the same name as the pistol from Episode IV.
So say as Britain I attack and take everything from Amsterdam to Kassel to Denmark. Will the French take Strasbourg and move on to take closer German territories rather than move through my newly acquired territory to attack Schwerin? Because I'd love to work with France in a bigger way. Also will the mini mod add this update because it's awesome.
I thought the British had some pretty good planes. They certainly had some good aces. Like take the Sopwith Camel, it's probably second only to the Fokker Triplanes in how iconic it is.
How dare you insult the beauty that is the gens Julii colour scheme?
OK I just watched a video about it and where it does look like there's a solid piece at the back of the bolt stopping it from being pulled back, it's actually a piece attached to the bolt that comes back with it.
You're right. Is it a push forward bolt? That would only make sense because it looks impossible to pull up and back. It must be pull up and push forward.
Also wasn't lorica segmentata the standard armour for legionnaires except during the Dacian Campaign? I know that Trajan had to switch to hamta and squamata to counter the Dacian falxes. I recommend giving the legionnaires segmentata and giving the auxiliaries the hamata and a spear. To counteract this making the Romans really powerful, have legionnaires cost far more than auxiliaries in both training and upkeep.
Just a quick thing. You spelled auxiliary wrong. Don't mean to sound like an *** just saying.
No offence but it looks like the bolt has been pulled back but remains downwards.
A quick suggestion, if I may. Add a way to recruit professional soldiers from cities you own. That way you can easily replenish numbers and have the ability to acquire troops of your own in former enemy territory.
Love TGW so much.
Is there a way I could personally modify it to make the minors available in the campaign?
