It is impossible to remember and to write down all the vast changes that DarthMod Rome makes to the game so please, for the time being, just note the most important changes comparing to the older version of the mod. Now it has also support for the expansion Rome: Total War Alexander.

Rome best mod makes the game 10x more replayble then it already is Darth is a modding genius.

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! Slow load in multiplayer battles (I think in singleplayer too).
Caused by: AI FORMATION txt file.
Fix: Copy the original RTW AI FORMATION txt file and paste over the mod one.

its any way you make map biger(to the asia place) ? :D
adding more towns (like rebel indochina or somthing) ?
removing that traped enemy town at the desert ? :D
and make diferent kind roman troops ?( all of 4 nations have the same troops ) its bit akward if you want edit troops and only win with 1 nation
Provincial europa_270bc campaign crashes for me on loading screen every single time. Ui_1.pak already deleted. somebody know a fix?
its only crash if you edit somthing at game files. the first stuf what i think is export_descr_unit.txt i bet you edit there somthing :)

Hei man, can I take the Formation Ai and the new (if any new) traits file and implement them on my mod? :) I will credit you.
So when I want to start a campaign its the normal RTW map.Only when I click 'Provincial Campaign' and play as the Romans is it the big map, this means I can only play with the Romans. How do I fix this?
exmpl - if you push "campaign" you will play original game with darthmod textures. if you push "Provincial Campaign" you will use mod map. every thing was write at SUMMARY
I have a question: Which of the following is the most cost-effective unit to field in battle? (This is the Rome total war Darth mod 9.0.1 1.5 version)
Greek Hoplites which have +1 Armour, heavy weapon type and long spears or the far more realistic Traditional Hoplite which have 10 more men in the unit, good stamina and higher attack value from the start (But shorter spears and 60 more denarii to recruit and 10 more denarii in upkeep cost)
Which is the difference between the light and heavy weapon values, I assume that heavy weapons does more damage but are more tiresome to wield
Edit: what does the extra sheilding and cristical hits thing that Hastati, Principes and post marian heavy infantry units have mean exactly?
