unreal 2 is not bad , is a funny to play , the weapons are amazing !

Christ, this game is fantastic! Stop complaining, this game was made in 2002. Why, this is easily my favorite Unreal. Its got the graphic capability of UT 2004, however this is single player. It rocks, and yes, it has a mod for multiplayer. Unfortunately, the multi-mod is dead at the moment.

Guys, you cannot judge this to be crap because even though the graphics aren't the best, the storyline and all the rest are great.

I say 9/10. Because it was a bit too short. Although, I did like the "Hold this point for 30 minutes" levels. :D Yes, I like those kind of levels.

Hello every body. I have big problem with this game. I have Lenovo laptop with intel graphic card, 1gb ram and vista os. The problem is with textures, I don't see most metallic textures on soldiers, aliens and ship crew. I only see brow reflective texture on them.

It's good fps game, not as good as half-life 2 or Doom 3. Some missions are fun, but too short - land, do some objectives, end (like whole game). My rating is 6/10.

Unreal 2 wasnt all that bad. I kinda like it, though I've played way better.

It is easily the most freeze / crashy piece of shit i've ever played. When it *does* work, (which is never for periods of more than a half hour), i often find myself getting outright massacred by enemies who's tactics seem to consist of circle strafing like tether balls, and cramming more rockets down my gullet than i have room for.

Unskippable Cinematics, which are usually beyond dull (each mission begins with a shot of your ship flying in, and then meticulously setting down. usually accompanied by a pan of some soon-to-be-dead baddies who go "nope, no sight of him sir". What's the point of these video intros? We get it. he's landing his little ship. he's gonna kill the unsuspecting dudes. it doesn't need to be built up....

The weapons are kind of cool. I like the flamethrower....that's about it really. The enemies are more annoying than fun, and they dont ragdoll when they die, so killing them is a really boring experience.

There's humor in this game!

The humor in the game usually comes from word play. Like, in one instance, an alien who is just learning english says another character told him to "Go to hell" so he is plotting a course on the ship's computer, for hell. As it turns out, there really is a planet called hell, and that's where your next mission takes place. Ha ha? Ugh.

This game reminds me of a slightly more interesting version of renegade. But the constant crashes and freezes are pissing me off that i even spent 10 bucks on it. I probably should have just pirated it, as the non steam version likely has more available patches. not to mention the multiplayer addon, which i dont think is available on steam

i do agree that the game wasnt as good as people thaught, but cmon, the game was still fun...though the tactics in the game ruined everything...easy is too easy to even be fun, normal is hard, and hard is, well im not going that far, lets just say annoying, anyway, yeah the tactics ruined the game, people in the mist in front of u would just snipe you with a machine gun, and u cant even tell where the hit is coming from, it took forever to kill one guy as it take like one shot to kill you...and the sheild would disappear after a certain amount of time, so u would always try to shotgun some one to death to pick up the sheild quickly, but you most likely would just die

is that they almost didnt make any mods for it and that i only came across the skaarj 2 times in the game. i thought unreal 2 was going to be more like a war gamem but it looks i was mistaken.

i want to make a mod for it but i know nothing off modding, moddeling nor skinning, can someone help me with like a tutorial or something
