RED-RESURRECTION is a mod developed for YR using the Ares enhancement. The mods primary aim is simple - to bring fun back to YR by testing new gameplay ideas such as more diverse armour types and counters, new Ares logics, reorganised tech trees for new strategies, special support powers and a whole lot more. Red-Resurrection is host to solid, fluid, well paced gameplay and new unit ideas that suit the over-the-top, nonsensical universe of Yuri's Revenge.

The next patch is well underway and possibly the most game-changing yet as it includes alterations to several countries- more on those can be read on the relevant images below.



As well as those, there is certainly more to come, the usual host of balance changes and many new maps.

few critics/impressions:
- Shinobi is worst variant of spy= can't even understand if smoke hides him or enemy units just decided to spare him this time - almost impossible to get him in enemy's base alive.
- Dr.Dobrilo and Minamoto are worst heroes = both simply die faster than do anything useful during fight.
- Japan having most durable Tsunami tank is kinda strange, but oh well. at the same i really feel lack of strong direct-action tank for any Soviet faction(no, Tito and Devastator doesn't feel like that and Blitzer is positioned as artillery).

p.s. did you specifically revived MacArthur to write those hateful descriptions on main site wiki?..

- Unless you have AA turrets/lots of dogs, the chance of disocovering a Shinobi is really low - it's hard to expect one.
- Dr. Dobrillo has useful deploy (and in 2.2.9 will be used as a Wireless Transfer point) - that's more than enough. Just handle him with caution. Minamoto isn't that much of a strong unit, but the magnetic deploy helps in some situations.
- Siege tanks have decent armor as well, plus Japan has Glacial Shield that multiplies armor of tanks.
- Devastator is one of the heaviest tanks, as well as Tesla Mammoth. Hammers are decent as well.

P.S. Which specific descriptions are hateful?

- the chance of discovering a Shinobi is actually unpredictable, as it's unclear When he's hidden: the moment Deploy is used, the moment smoke appears, the moment smoke disappears?! i had many situations trying to cover him with smoke before enemy units come close for attack, no detectors, and still he gets killed where spy would easily pass.
- didn't know Dobrilo is a Wireless Transfer point(nothing said in wiki). that's at least smt. both his and Minamoto's deploy abilities get them killed at most of situation, unless they are against a plain group of only tanks(no single infantry or anti-infantry unit in group). other heroes even while been squishier feel better due to range of attacks.
- yeap, as a said Japan has good tanks, never mind. though Hammers feel so-so even compared to basic Allies tanks(slower shooting, slower moving, maybe even dying same or faster).
- maybe hateful is inappropriate word, but all this "cannon fodder", "keep at bay", "hordes" = after reading this i only feel Allies units need more "shiny knights", "blessed forces", "glorious protectors" to make picture even better,

- The chance of a Shinobi being discovered is the same as any other cloaked unit. It's clear when he's hidden because he is transparent, which is how stealthing works in the engine. Units / buildings with an eye in the manual detect stealth.

- Dobrilo will be a transfer point in the next patch, Morton got mixed up which version is released. Heroes in this mod mostly are not intended to just be frontline combatants, and need to be used carefully to be affective. Dobrilo is one of the more powerful heroes. Maybe try sticking him in a Grinder and deploying him out at the right moment.

- Not sure what you mean by "no good direct-action tanks". There hopefully is no tank you just build lots of and send in on their own, but there are lots of good upfront combat vehicles for the Soviets, the Devastator being one of them (despite what you said). Grinders are an obvious example, the Tesla Mammoth & Graveler.

- The Allies are definitely glorious protectors when the USA commonly uses napalm, Europe is a police state, the UK guns down civilians and the Empire of Japan is... Japan. RA has always been satirical. The darker sides of all the countries here are condensed and represented.

You should add hero units in the Final Frontier mode. I suggest the following below.

Brut & Woytek (USA, Great Britain, and European Federation), and Minamoto (Empire of Japan) for the Allies

Volkov & Chitzkoi (Soviet Russia and Yugoslavia), and Lamia (Libyan Republic and Confederation) for the Soviets

These are the only heroes are available in the Final Frontier mode due to it's limitations.

My miners and tanks walk in water, please fix that i wan to make a video for my channel and i like this mod so much but is hard to see that, thanks.

Uhh miners and many other units are intentionally amphibious, and change the graphics when over water to show it. You can view the manual to find out which units are amphibious Omegabolt.cncguild.net

The Japanese Cryo Legionnaire should be named as "Cryo Trooper" or something else since the Legionnaires themselves were stated to come from either the USA or Europe, not Japan.

Also the Commissar quote "This boots are too tight." must be remove because it's sounds like he is complaining about his boots that he's wearing.

The in-game Romonov unit always do that, but the Commissar unit is not like Romonov. That quote should be removed because he should not complain about the boots while he's moving. It's kinda weird and annoying.

Of course only following it from somewhere in 1.5 closed Beta. so far it has great promise. A definitly good possible continuation of what could've happened after the Allied victory of YR, while still keeping to some of the tech of the original and also expanding techs on both sides. It's not really a bad thing to leave the Yuri faction out of a YR mod, especially since you keep some of his tech in the Soviets, where he started. I enjoy streaming this as it's a different approach to modding this…
