Nova Aetas is set in the world of Calradia, but in a later period. The Old Medieval World is vanishing. A new era is coming and you,
the player, will experience this. Nova Aetas is Latin for A New Era. The main targets are
realism & extended gameplay. I also want to highlight the civil part

I have been modding for four years already. This includes extending the features of the original M&B games by adding a lot of new content - or improving gameplay, and this all mostly done by myself! This takes a lot of effort and time in learning how to model, to texture and to write complex scripts.
My intentions are to offer a pleasant and durable feeling of the game.

Even after the release of a modification I stay updating & bringing out new content. I keep reading feedback, suggestions, bug reports and even watch community videos. Especially the testing side of developing a mod can last long and be aggravating. But seeing the joyful feedback of you does encourage my enthusiasm to continue developing. Making profit has never been my goal. I never ask to be paid for my work and services. Though I give you the option to freely donate a sum of money as a token of appreciation for all time and effort put in offering you a free, pleasant and durable game.

I have a problem with v5.0 version.I've been following this mod for a long time and i also used tweakMB and Morgh's Editor with the previous versions of mod with no problem.Unfortunately when I tried to use Morgh's editor with v5.0 version factions in the game changed like Rivacheg and some Sarranid cities became a Swadian city and Mithridians have Sargoth,Zendar became Swadian city and Praven became merchant city etc. I don't have any idea why this happens when i just edit some bread and stuff.Btw when i edit stuff manually i dont have any problem. Plz guys enlighten me thx :))

Has anyone else encountered this bug? I got a message,"Your village has grown so big, that the villagers decided to upgrade the Church in the center of the village to show their gratitude", something along those lines. However, when I try to enter the village, I am confronted by a villager and I can only try to kill them or leave. Any way to fix this? Thanks

also i find early game hard for new players, once you learn it sure its easy, but when you are noob then most people just abandon the mod, i seen streamer just leave because "its way too hard" so can you put up some kind of manual work in cities or villages that can earn you food (in villages) and money in cities?

can we get cathar faith that lets us recruit cathars, or have them be in our caravans when we become nation? id love to have cathars on my side, but itd give you -5 relations with every lord once you talk to them so its not op,

I've been tweaking the troop trees a little bit, as I found that some of the upgrade paths aren't always very logical.

The troop trees of the Agonic Order, Zendar, Papacy etc. have been changed.
Cavalry are now in a seperate branch instead of replacing infantry further down the line, and do not "upgrade" back to infantry either.
This should make a bit more sense and allows for a more structured approach to bulding your army.

Been working on a 16th century version of this mod. Sort of a sub-mod deal.

-no more early medieval stuff
-tweaks to kingdom names/lords
-tons of new armour/clothing + weapons

Still looking for better smoke effects/animations for pikes/gunners.

That sounds great, I was just thinking how I want a 16th-17th century themed mod. This mod already has such a great foundation to work from and maybe not that many changes needed, wish you the best of luck!
