Cerberus team

News

CERBERUS

Assult Troopers: The back bone of the Cerberus forces altho not as strong as other Cerberus units due to low shielding, Cerberus armour provides exceptional strength compared to alliance standard marine armour. Troopers tote a Hornet submachine gun and have the ability to throw grenades.

UPGRADES

Matlock: Heavy rifle - trades rapid fire for single, long range, powerful shots.

Arc weapon: Heavy weapon - Fires high charged electrical pulse. Good for taking out armoured vehicles and shields

Centurian Commander: Centurians can lead sqauds, have tough armour and shields they also have the ability to cover their sqauds retreat/assult in smoke. They Carry a M96 Mattlock rifle, and gives a small sight/moral bonus to squad.

Assult Bantons: Cerberus troops can now engage in melee with electrically infused Batons. Used only when enemy is in striking distance.

Number: sqaud of 4 (1+ if Centurian upgrade)

Unit Type: Trooper

NEMISIS: Gives support and over watch for Cerberus troops. Armed with the M5 Raptor sniper rifle the Nemisis can pick targets off from a fair distance. Unlike the M28 Widow or the Javalin the Raptor is not as powerful so it usually takes two shots to bring down most targets. The Nemisis has serperior targeting enhancments and is able to dispach targets through cover of smoke. The Nemisis has average health but can with stand more fire than most low armoured units.Thanks to their suits enhancements, they gain a added bonus if they grab cover.

Upgrades: none

GAURDIANS: Like human tanks, Gaurdians have incredibly tough armour, especially front on. This is due to the fact that they have large Polychrystiline shields protecting them from incoming fire. Although slow Gaurdians can apply preassure to dug in troops and can supply good support for friendlies. Gaurdians are armed with the Talon Heavy Pistol wich is incredibly deadly at close range. Gaurdians also have the ability to melee but prefer to shoot targets at close range. Powerful melee attack can be purchesed.

Upgrades: Shield Bash, sends enemies flying back or staggers large units

Number: 3

Unit Type: Assult/Melee/support

ENGINEER: Cerberus Engineers, altho lightly armoured, are well protected as far as engineer units go, thanks to Cerberuses advanced research in combat suits and shielding. Engineers are armed with Phalanx pistols which are slightly better than most common handguns. However, Cerberus Engineers arnt neccissarily for offensive purposes as to support and defense. Engineers can set up turrents which pack a punch and good for blocking any enemies which desides to flank or byepass Cerberus forces.

UPGRADE:

Shield Generator: can give shields to units who stand with in the Generators circufirance range

Shield wall: able to set up strong shielded walls, for Cerberus forces who are in need of some top grade cover

M23 scyth shotgun: can upgrade to deal more damage to foes

Number: 3

PHANTOM: Cerberus most skilled worriors, armed with a Monomolecular sword, powerful biotics Barriers, weaponized hand tech device and the ability to cloak for a short period of time. Phantoms are not to be under estimated.

Upgrades:

Speed charge/evassive monuverse: catch up with enemies or tactically fall back, also increases speed of attacks

Hand projectile weapon: gives Phantom ranged combat capabilities, shoots a pulse like bullet capable of killing low shielded enemies.

Number: 4

ATLAS: The powerful Atlas mech. Altho somewhat unwieldy on the battlefield, the Atlas is armed with an antipersonel machine gun, high impact missile launcher and a claw arm for melee or destroying cover. With high shields, strong armour and an element zero core making it tough to bring down and the ability to be dropped anywhere on the battle field from orbit. The Atlas is a force to be reckoned with.

Ugrades:

Deploy smoke: for defencive or offencive capabilites

Number: 1

Haha nah its not rude. I did think of that, but the team and i agree that the atmosphere and the maps, play style, even animations fit in alot with Mass effect. I have considerably considered it though...it would be way easier in some ways

Hence why I suggested it...From what I read of what materiel you have it sounds perfect for a CoH 1 or 2 mod. Especially as I remember some worlds in ME 1 were Ice worlds that killed you if you stayed out too long...And as much as I HATE the mechanic in CoH 2, it would make sense to do so from a lore perspective.
