Awesome!!! Can't wait.
Awesome!!! Can't wait.
SUPERB!
Hello!
First of all: great mod and great work, now campaign is far more balanced. Secondly, would You consider the option of adding a Danish held province in India to stand closer to reality? Like Bengal: owned by brits / Orissa owned by danes / carnatica owned by french. Given the relevance in the period, also maybe remove Mamelukes in favor of a starting Hyderabad to add even more competition in India.
Just some thoughts from somebody who unfortunately doesn't have the time to apply in ETW modding anymore. :(
Thanks a lot for Your awesome work!
Hello! Does this work with "definitive Edition" on Steam?
Hello! First of all, I'd like to thank all of the Team because this is easily one of the top 5 mods for MEDII ever, fantastic.
A couple of issue I ran into:
- Genoa, while historically being a republic, still has some vanilla Milan descriptions (Faction Leader is still called Duke and heir prince+in faction desc still shows duchy of Genoa)
- while playing as Bavaria, game always crashes on summer 1710 end turn
I'm sure all minor things will be solved, only minor since this is a monstrous project and a well executed one already! Many thanks for the passion and work put into this.
Yes he is replaced with Felipe V and Spanish war of Succession is in full swing.
Awesome historical research. If only unlimited factions and redrawings of the map were possible, we would have a perfect mod :D
Awesome!
A very interesting time period, thanks DoDoCat for this mod! Hoping to see a campaign release soon ;)
This mod alrady was great...with this next version it will undoubtedly become the most epic mod ever for NTW!!
Unfortunately no...I'm moving on to modding RTW remastered.
Wonderful! Many thanks !!
WOnderful! Without the hardcoded faction limit, this could easily top Empire and maybe even Napoleon!
hello! what do You mean by "Quadi" ? there is no Quadi faction apart from the rebels in this mod. Just the original ones.
One of the best mods for M2TW I have ever played without a doubt. Good balance, great setting, wonderful new models. Thanks a lot!!
Awesome work..."simple" but really good and in line with the vanilla feel. Personally I think the perfect BI version would have had the Huns as an emergent faction in mid-campaign instead of the Slavs (nothing against, just for historical period represented in the campaign) and the Slavs themselves replaced by the Moors in Arabia at start. But obviously this is Your Mod and you choose! :D
This is one of the most ambitious mods for any total war game I've ever seen. I wish You luck....and congratulations for the skills! CA should think about hiring people like You...
Hi Alex! Thanks for the really good rating :)
Regarding new content, unfortunately I have very little 3d modding capabilities and , in general with classic games I love, I also quite like to keep them quite close to the vanilla style.
However I give You full permission to do sub-mods if You wish...I'm sure they will turn out to be great!
Stefano
This looks very promising, can't wait to check it out!
Unfortunately not this one since modifies the start_pos file of the campaign like ID...sorry :(
just go inside Your personal RTW folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rome Total War Gold\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign and delete the leaderpics you do not desire ;)
Unfortunately not in a mod-foldered way: apparently mod-foldered mods, if made from Steam-version BI, do have some problems with non-Steam versions - go figure!... however if you overwrite all data in your original BI folder it should work
Just copy and overwrite all files in your RoN directory :)
I think that the RTW: BI engine fits the period much better than the M2TW one...however I think that on the TW center there is already a M2TW mod regarding Late Antiquity, if you want to try it :)

Yep the problem seems to be with the non-Steam versions of the game, I don't know why...another user pointed this out in the Installation thread. I think the are some issues with the .exe file of the game.
For real? I have it on vanilla RTW Gold ( did verify original files on Steam ) and works fine...what kind of error does it give to You?
