Not trying to be rude, but probably a few years from now with how slow this has been.

I understand it's just a hobby and whatever, but when one has a mod that is one of the most popular and they are this slow it makes me look towards guys like the supcom2 revamp mod and how much work they do compared to this. Even though they are nowhere near as popular, they bought a mod kit to mod that game and are constantly updating it.

Same I got it as well. I had to enter "twa 1.75 version" because Im always cautious when opening links and wasn't sure who it was actually from. Seems cool that there is a new version, but why not upload it here and write a news post about it???

No, one of you said that 4.0 would be released next year because this was before the 'demo' stuff was even mentioned. I had asked about if the ai was going to be good and if we could expect it next year. I tried going back in the comments to paste the reply in question, but I went back 100 pages and was only on dec 5. It doesn't matter now anyways, so just keep up the good work.

God this mod looks awesome, but I really wished you wouldn't have listened to people and add in all the different units from the new hobbits movie at this time. I would have MUCH prefered a english working 4.0 and have all this hobbit stuff release for 5.0.

All that is happening in delay after delay because of it. Last year you guys said at this time in december that we would have 4.0 by end of next year, but now with all this new hobbit stuff that is obviously not even going to be close to happening. Regardless your mod deserves to be in top 5 for sure, great work.

I check this mod every weak hoping for some new news. I played it all the time, but after playing SVN version I can't go back to regular. it SUCKS though there is no longer SVN because I had to wipe my computer in late summer and was never able to play this again. Here's hoping we get V4 soon

Whoa that is awesome news! I thought this was the best mod for SupCom, but the fact the ai didn't build any of the new structures was really disappointing. So to be clear the Ai will use EVERYTHING added in this mod for the next release? Is the AI going to be under sorian as well when using the new units?

Do not misunderstand with what I am about to say as being ungrateful, but the way you guys are handling this mod is pretty poor. Now I understand that you have real life problems and such. However, you are not the only modders who have to cope with that and others who mods are not even close to as popular are far more reliable with when a new version is coming out or when a hotfix/patch will be out and/or communicating with the fans.

A prime example is the RVE mod for supcom 2 or the STA3 mod for sins of a solar empire. Both those mods are not really close to as well known as this mod, yet the creators are constantly communicating with their fans if they need help and such. In the case of RVE the creators are so inclined to finish their ideas that they actually had to purchase (with donations from fans) a modding kit and models because supcom 2 didn't come with anything.

Like I said do not misunderstand what I said as not being thankful for the work you guys have done because I am and I think I can speak for everyone when I say you guys have done incredible work with this mod, but a little more involvement would be nice.

Holy crap this mod is fun! I kept trying it over the past year for a minute and had no clue what I was doing, so got bored. I have actually committed to playing it and my GOD this mod is awesome! I know nothing about startrek, but I do know these models look incredible, I love the look of the romuleans I think they are called. Now that that is aside haha I have two questions.

1. regarding heroes units. It said it was disabled by another entity, then is said cooldown has not expired. I am trying to train hamalok.

2. I am trying to build a dreadnot and it says dreadnot factory is required. How do I build that factory? I have researched the first tech in this match and all four last match and it said the same thing.

Any chance the AI is going to be improved? Love all the new units and abilities, like being able to select the unpack location for explores, but ai is VERY easy at least for me below brutal. I can hold my own against brutal for a bit, but hard is way to easy

No it was getting shot by my ally from tanks, infantry, and mortars. I had to quit that match and start over, but it seems like that bug was a one time thing so far 'knock on wood'

HAHAHAHA I just have to write this, I am playing on the rail mode map again, high resources. Right to start the match the ai deploys a glider outside my base and just starts building mortars squads and HMGs. I am just spending my time holding him off. I have seen the AI deploy gliders, but not to start the match and right beside my base, and with the correct units to build when needed. This V4 is incredible, you guys have outdone yourselves!

Thanks for fixing those two bugs. The commander one was nothing, but the other was definitely something. Another bug, the AI enemies Glider is destroyed, yet my AI allies keep shooting at it

After 4 games here are my impressions of the good. AI capturing unconnected territory is an GREAT addition, and I just could not play without it, It is SO cool to see the ai do that. An example I was playing against 2 americans, half way through the match they secretly marched on the outside borders with 4 squads capturing 2 fuels, and 1 munitions, cutting of my tank production for a few minutes.

Another thing that seems very much improved is unit priority. I was playing on that big rail road map when the enemy massed up over a dozen tanks and at least 2 dozen infantry for one final push. My allies quickly sent nearly everyone they had to counter the offensive, cept for a few infantry and a couple tanks to keep the middle secure.

I am just going to add the ai seems WAY more player like. I had 2 mortar halftracks bombarding my base, so I sent a tank buster. As soon as the ai SAW the tank busters they retreated, I didn't even get a chance to fire. Very impressed.

Now for the criticisms (of which so far I only have 2)

1. The ai does not seem to use reward units at all. Only ones I care about them using is really the nashorn and recon halftrack with the 20 mm cannon

2. Ai as stated by "SRACon17" does not seem to push forward enough when it outnumbers our defense. I was playing on gilroys harbor, and had a pershing, howitzer sherman, lmg squad, a 57mm at gun guarding the leftside next 2 the shore. The enemy had 2 panzer 4's, about 6 squads of infantry, 2 panthers, 1 marder3, and a few at guns, yet never fully engaged when he could pretty easily wiped me out.

All In all your mod has just gotten immensely improved! Like on that gilroy harbor the 1 enemy was crossing the bottom bridge, so my ai pulls out of where I am to cover our flank. they just ha a tug of war for the bridge and securing that corner vp point, while I dealt with the one enemy where I was. Seems WAY more human like.

Balance, but if you want good AI definitely check out "Back to Basics"! I would enjoy EF alot more if it had good ai like BtB. If all you care about is PvP then this mod is great, me however I like playing on my own time against ai

Is it an easy fix? Man I can not wait until we get V4... I am tempted to play the svn, its just in my past experiences with other game mods it usually means a non polished, buggy experience
