i'm not sure if units can be edited that much in Shogun 2, i don't think it is even possible to add shields. So you'd have katana wielding japanese speaking romans and greeks fighting in japan over japanese castles? kinda stupid.

umm not entirely sure, but weren't the rifles of that era muzzle loaded just like muskets, that would not make them easy to reload, but more difficult than muskets as the barrel is rifled and it takes more effort to shove the bullet down. not sure how common breech loading weapons were at the time, i know sharps rifle was breech loaded.

Don't really like this one's setting though, too sci-fi with some mythical "Eastern army" that NATO could beat any time in real life. The regular USA vs Russia or USA vs some minor middle eastern country would've been better.

i quite like it, though it could really use mods, better ai and a multiplayer mode.

are you going to implement a more advanced armor system, i think i remember a more interesting armor system from the ARMA 1 release. I just hate all the tanks blowing up when destroyed and so forth.

Would've loved new music, sounds and animations. Maybe improved graphics as well, especially the unit models.

Tho, on the paradox page it says the digital version will be only $15, that's good at least.
