Age of Chivalry

By Team Chivalry

32 Map Pack for Age of Chivalry

Age of Chivalry is a total conversion for Half-Life 2 currently being developed by Team Chivalry. A close group of friends who are dedicated to creating a fun story driven multiplayer experience set in a fantasy world in the medieval ages, Age of Chivalry was the original entry in this series, and the creators of this iconic and historic total conversion went on to work with Tripwire on the commercial sequels. Fans of the original exist to this day, however, meaning some classic medieval Source combat is never far away.

Shields Up

Tripwire Interactive is a company largely built on the commercialisation of promising total conversions, with some of their biggest titles - Killing Floor, Red Orchestra, and Chivalry - all stemming from total conversions. Most of these titles not only made it to the commercial realm, but then had successful sequels, and Chivalry 2 is the newest sequel from the studio. Experiencing several additional content drops since launch, it continues the trend of Tripwire keeping their titles going with the Reinforced update.

Chivalry 2 Reinforced Update

Chivalry 2 specialises in intense first-person medieval combat, and stems from
the original Age of Chivalry mod which was a Half-Life 2 total conversion

Teams In Fortresses

The Reinforced update introduces new weapons, new maps, and a new edition of the game for especially devoted fans. The new content is, by and large, designed to take advantage of the mounted horse combat introduced in a previous update to the game, retrofitting existing content to allow for horsing around and a new map purpose-built for it. It also comes in time for Chivalry 2 to join Xbox Game Pass, and with sales on various platforms too, now's not a bad time to get involved with the mayhem.
