My mum can only open her mail with the outlook icon i put on desktop and surf from google. She cant even install a thing or use any other program, I do not feel like explaining her modding..
I explained my mum, what modding is and she thinks it´s a good idea. But she doesn´t like the games, that are modded.
My mom pissed her panties when she played Afraid of Monsters.

well yeah it is :P, coz you can spen your time outside with your friends :P, btw i'm modding to ;)
yeah but i've noticed the more money i have the more friends i have and right now im pretty much broke so yeah
my case wasnt really mentioned. i told her what im mostly doing at the computer and she has sometimes seen me modding and she knows why i do that but i dont think shes totally amazed about it or would even play computergames ^^

My mom plays simple games like Tetris, Mahjong, and Solitaire. She does know what modding is, though she pronounces it "modeing".

i only just recently explained to her what modding was :P
she doesn't really understand why anyone would want to mod.
My mum has never heard of modding.
I voted for the second, but she doesn't wonder why I mod. She knows exactly why I mod, which is because I love to tinker. It's a lot more cost effective than tearing the TV down every day, or fixing up the car.

Agreed, mine knows what it is and is interested in what I do but has only played the mod I worked on so far. She does like other games though, she is currently addicted to Spore and I always get my dinner late because of that darn game! hhahaha ;P

TV doesn't actually damage your brain cells,but over time TV and PC monitors CAN damage you eyes,there is protective eye wear though.
I does not mean that its rays actually affeckt the brain.
but in front of the TV you are just consuming, not moving,
not thinking.
And, be honest, there is a lot of trash on the TV nowadays^^
I don't know how it is over there in the US where you guys
live, but here in germany it is really awful =/
anyway, I'm happy that my mom sees modding that way,
so theres more time for my favorite hobby ;D
98% of American TV is crap,the rest is news,most pf the movies are crap too.

I'm sure my mom doesn't know what modding is. However, I think she knows it's possible to mod games. She doesn't mod or play them, though.
WHAT U SAY ABOUT MY MAMA!?
My mom knows what it is but goes "wtf?" whenever i show something to her... Its so frustrating to demonstrate work that has had hours of effort put into it, and then have the watcher go "and...?" xD ARGH!
I tried explaining modding to my mom, but she JUST WON'T GET IT!! Her mind over-complicates the whole concept of changing the game and using things from the game to make new environments. The effort required to make things more understandable simply isn't worth it, considering that she doesn't even care anyways! So why bother?
My mom really has no interest in anything I do, except for my grades, which are never good enough for her... DAMMIT MY MOM IS FRUSTRATING!!
