Check out "Modifying & Recompiling Source Characters" on design3 and learn about Source engine character creation.

In this tutorial you'll learn the specific methods for extracting, decompiling, modifying and finally recompiling character and prop models in Half-Life 2. Using a powerful combination of the XSI Mod Tool, various third party apps and Valveā€™s own SDK.

Hey Noesis... do you have a good script for a character controller? I have tried everything I have. Since prefabs to tutorial, to self made to third parties. And nothing works properly. I only need one frikin' script to make my character move properly in a third person style like Crash Bandicoot. Press UP and the character goes forward, press down and goes down, press down+left, goes diagonal downleft, and so on... I've been with this for a week and I'm really getting ****** off.

So, if you could help me or give a tip, please send me a PM :D
